Where I’d take my family for Spring Break that most people don’t even know exists… 🌴🇩🇴✨

Forget the crowded mega-resorts. This is the Caribbean escape I’d be booking. @donomalasterrenashotel

📍 Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic

Think turquoise water, palm-lined beaches, French bakeries, Italian restaurants, Dominican food 😋 and a charming little beach town with a European-meets-Caribbean vibe.

And the best part? A gorgeous NEW luxury resort just opened here!

🌴 DONOMA Las Terrenas Resort & Villas | Autograph Collection

Why I love it for families:

✨ Spacious 1-, 2-, and 4-bedroom villas
✨ Beautiful beachfront setting
✨ A walkable beach-town atmosphere with local restaurants and cafés nearby
✨ Waterfalls, horseback riding, ziplining & whale watching in season
✨ Luxury without feeling confined to a massive all-inclusive resort

It’s the kind of place where you can actually experience the destination instead of spending your entire vacation inside a resort.

And when you book through The Amara Escapes, you’ll enjoy exclusive VIP perks, including daily breakfast, resort credits, and special amenities. 🥂

Save this for Spring Break 2027!

💌 Comment SPRING BREAK or DM me for details, villa options, and exclusive rates!

Looking for something a little different this winter? ❄️✨ The Nordics are calling! 🇳🇴🇸🇪🇫🇮🇩🇰🇮🇸

Think Northern Lights, dramatic fjords, cozy villages, incredible Nordic design, and some of the most beautiful winter experiences in the world.

Here’s where I’m sending my clients this winter:

🌌 Northern Lights Chasers: HX Expeditions — Arctic expedition cruises with incredible opportunities to witness the aurora borealis.

🚢 Culture Lovers: Hurtigruten — Explore Norway’s coastline, charming fishing villages, and local traditions aboard intimate ships.

🏔️ Design Lovers: Wood Hotel Bodø, Norway — Stunning architecture, panoramic mountain views, and rooftop wellness.

🧖‍♀️ Wellness Seekers: Arctic Bath, Sweden — Floating luxury cabins, traditional saunas, cold plunges, and unforgettable Arctic adventures.

But the best part of the Nordics? The people, the culture, and the way of life. 🤍

TOP 3 Caribbean luxury family resorts 🌴☀️

Looking for a Caribbean family resort where the kids are OBSESSED and the parents still feel like they’re on vacation? Save these 3. 👇🏼

1️⃣ The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman 🇰🇾
Luxury + family-friendly done RIGHT. Located directly on Seven Mile Beach, kids can experience the incredible Ambassadors of the Environment program AND Starfish Cay Waterpark: an interactive splash park with a zero-entry pool, gentle waterslides, water features and the giant dumping bucket. Perfect for younger kids!

2️⃣ Beaches Turks & Caicos 🇹🇨
If your kids LOVE water parks, this is the one. The resort has a massive 45,000-square-foot Pirates Island Waterpark with 11+ slides, a lazy river, splash deck, water cannons, kid-friendly pools and more. Add in Kids Camp, Sesame Street programming, 10 pools and gorgeous Grace Bay Beach—and there is basically ZERO chance of your kids getting bored. 😂

3️⃣ Finest Punta Cana 🇩🇴
One of my favorite elevated all-inclusive options for families! Their Imagine Kids Club has TWO mini water parks—one designed for younger kids ages 3–6 and another for ages 7–11—plus a separate splash pool for little ones. They also have supervised activities, theme parties, beach games and family-friendly pools, while still giving parents plenty of elevated dining and adult spaces.

✨ Three totally different vibes, but all AMAZING for families.

The best family resort isn’t just about having a kids club—it’s about finding the property that fits your kids’ ages, your travel style AND what the parents actually want from the vacation.

Comment “CARIBBEAN” below and I’ll match your family with the perfect resort. 🌴✈️

Where should you stay in Aspen? 🎿❄️ Save this for ski season.

Aspen has some AMAZING luxury hotels, but they’re definitely not all for the same traveler. Here’s how I match my clients:

⛷️ For the hardcore skier: The Little Nell
🥂 For the scene: Hotel Jerome
🏔️ For the grand luxury resort feel: The St. Regis Aspen Resort
✨ For the new kid on the block: White Elephant Aspen

The best hotel isn’t always the “best” hotel—it’s the one that fits how YOU actually want to experience Aspen.

And when you book through me, I can often add preferred partner perks like daily breakfast, hotel credits, upgrades when available + VIP treatment. 🥂

COMMENT “ASPEN” below and I’ll match you with your perfect Aspen stay. 🎿🤍

Getting to Courchevel from the U.S. is easier than you think 🇫🇷⛷️✈️

Here are 4 of the best ways to arrive:

1. ✈️ Fly into Geneva → 🚁 Helicopter to Courchevel
The ultimate arrival. Skip the long mountain drive and land right in the Courchevel Altiport in serious style.
2. ✈️ Fly into Geneva → 🚘 Private Transfer
One of the easiest and most popular options from the U.S. Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you straight into the French Alps.
3. ✈️ Fly into Lyon → 🚁 Helicopter to Courchevel
Another seamless option, especially if your flight itinerary works better through Lyon. Transfer from the airport to the heliport, then fly straight into the mountains.
4. ✈️ Fly into Lyon → 🚘 Private Transfer
A comfortable door-to-door option with a private driver handling the mountain roads while you sit back and enjoy the scenery.

And yes — I can arrange the entire journey: international flights, private transfers, helicopter transfers, hotels, ski passes, rentals, instructors, dining, après-ski and everything in between. 🎿🥂

Courchevel 2027, anyone? 🇫🇷

Do you know what I’m saying? 😅 🛁

This. No plans. Nowhere to be.

Another detail I loved at @rosewoodmandarina … the oversized stone bathtubs, with naturally scented bath salts waiting right beside you. 🤌🏼

It’s the little things here that make such a big impact on your stay and really make you feel at home.

And if you’re a bath person like me, THIS matters 😂 I’m literally someone who travels with Epsom salts lolllll, so having beautiful naturally scented bath salts already waiting next to the tub? They get me. 🤌🏼

Maybe your kind of luxury isn’t another tour.

Maybe it’s brushing a polo horse.
Bathing them.
Connecting with them.
And realizing how therapeutic it is to simply be present.

This is why I travel.

For experiences you can’t replicate anywhere else.

If you’re looking for somewhere different, I’ve got the perfect stay for you @rosewoodmandarina 🐎
