FOUR DAYS TO EUROPE drops on Wednesday. 28/10🚀🎬

FOUR DAYS TO EUROPE is that film, bruv!
It’s camaraderie. It’s brotherhood. It’s the street of Lagos!
I was actually telling God at midnight on the first day of filming that day 2 shouldn’t come. 😭
Broooo, filmmaking is a mental endurance sport.
And I’m happy to do this. Anytime. 🎬
I’m so in love with cinema. 🤍

When it finally gets to your screen, it’s just about 10 minutes…
But that 10 minutes took everything.
5 days of shooting stretched across 14 days…
Busy schedules, moving locations, retakes, mhennn…
and sometimes, we just had to take the shot anyway.
I’m glad it’s finally a wrap. Thank God.
I also had the rare privilege of working with my boss and legendary @boisala thank you, sir.
The film set of a budding filmmaker is not as glamorous as people think… lol.

Now… when release? 🎬

I made a film on the life of a random creative Lagosian. Trust me, this is something you wanna see!
I’ve never written a script/film that didn’t originate from my own experience. Like @tarantinouniverse would say: “Make it personal enough so you feel embarrassed to share it.”
Am I somehow embarrassed to share this? Maybe yes, maybe not.
Let’s see… Pick a date in March!!
