Darkness, Have you ever noticed that whenever the light around you goes off, your sight tend to adjust to see what is around you and before you know it you become familiar with the dark area, but the moment the light comes back on it first comes as a stranger to the eyes, you know your first reaction is to fight the rays of light, but the moment you stay there, you become familiar with it and one thing becomes sure you see more and your vision becomes more sharper and sharper as long as you stay in the light.... Many of us have been so used to the Darkness around us and it becomes very very familiar to us, We barely want to move, we don't want growth, we are okay with the bare minimum, oh we are so comfortable with our "state" but there can be MORE, THERE CAN BE LIGHT TO SEE FURTHER AND FURTHER... This light represents Christ. In Christ, our understanding becomes sharpened, and we can see beyond the ordinary.. and keep growing for the bible says Prov.4.18 - The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. Another light is learning, un learning and relearning, give your self to reading books, listening to an insightful podcast and all, and see how you will grow... 💡💡😘 I love you Jesus Loves you more #faith #love #fypppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp #mercy

*Embracing Self-Awareness as a Sickle Cell Warrior* Living with sickle cell disease (SCD) requires a deep understanding of one's body, emotions, and limitations. As a sickle cell warrior, self-awareness is crucial for managing the condition, preventing crises, and improving overall well-being. Understanding Your Body 1. *Recognize your triggers*: Identify factors that can trigger sickle cell crises, such as dehydration, stress, or extreme temperatures. 2. *Monitor your symptoms*: Pay attention to changes in your body, like pain levels, fatigue, or shortness of breath. 3. *Track your patterns*: Keep a journal or use a mobile app to record your symptoms, triggers, and medication adherence. Emotional Intelligence 1. *Acknowledge your emotions*: Recognize how SCD affects your mental health and emotions, such as anxiety, depression, or frustration. 2. *Develop coping strategies*: Find healthy ways to manage stress and emotions, like meditation, exercise, or talking to a therapist. 3. *Build a support network*: Surround yourself with people who understand and support you. Self-Care 1. *Prioritize rest*: Get enough sleep and take breaks to avoid fatigue. 2. *Stay hydrated*: Drink plenty of water and avoid dehydration. 3. *Exercise wisely*: Engage in gentle exercises that don't exacerbate symptoms. 4. *Eat a balanced diet*: Focus on nutrient-rich foods that support overall health. Empowerment through Knowledge 1. *Stay informed*: Learn about SCD, its management, and the latest research. 2. *Advocate for yourself*: Communicate your needs and concerns with healthcare providers, family, and friends. 3. *Connect with others*: Join support groups or online communities to share experiences and advice. #faithoverfear #faith #beyou #love # loveyou #loveyourself #sicklecell #health #healthylifestyle #drinkwater #nutrition #awarenessmonth #growth #mind #soul #youmatterhere

Just a little word from me to you🥰🥰 Ps.23.4 - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You see in life whether we like it or not there is something called "the shadow of death" in other words it is a point in time where it may look like all hope is lost and the entire world is against you, but remember it is called SHADOW... What will become of you from this shadow all depends on YOU. I'll be making an illustration with #slide1 and #slide2. A grapefruit is perfect just the way it is, but it can go from being ordinary to extraordinary, and for a better version of itself it undergoes an unpleasant process <a shadow of death> dealing with all sorts of squeezing, fermenting, just mention it.. but then at the end it becomes something that will serve Great people, Kings and Nobles, and without it a function is not complete, the wine is the result to show that indeed it passed through the SHADOW but was not defeated. It saw possibilities of becoming TRANSFORMED but it needed to take on the sacrifice of going through the SHADOW... Permit me to say that there is no body that will not have to pass through this phase, but remember it is Just a SHADOW, don't let it overwhelm you,... The outcome of this depends on YOU .. if only you can look beyond the Shadows and see afar of ..Many Great people we see today all have stories of their own version of the Shadow of death but one thing makes the different is that THEY COULD SEE POSSIBILITIES even admist the Shadow... The psalmist goes on to say I will fear no evil, FOR THOU ART WITH ME... What is with(in) you determine how strong you can face the SHADOW, and how greater you can become.. Never give room for fear... FOR THE ROD AND THE STAFF WILL SURELY COMFORT YOU.... I am rooting for you, I know it is not easy, fight through it, remember it is just a Shadow it will Fade away, BE YOUR LIGHT... In the Shadows, find Christ, Discover you and Become a greater version of YOURSELF.... I Love you 😍🥰🥳 JESUS LOVES YOU 💖 #Miracle #love #grace #warrior #voiceofwarriors #faithoverfear #Jesus #Greatness #You #Gospel #peace #

John 9:3 Jesus answered and said neither this man sinned not his parents, : but that the works of God may be made manifested in him.... I'll be sharing with you my Grace story on how I became a Sickle cell warrior.. please make sure you read till end🥳... So "clears throat" both parents, before marriage had their genotype done in a reputable hospital and one was given AS and the other AA... They both had undergone the test even before meeting, and so they could boldly attest to the result given to them... Fast track to when I was convinced the doctor did another test and found out that the other parent was also AS, it was a very shocking news as both are learned, they tried checking times and times again but it kept bringing the same result. Well I was born and then it was, i had sickle cell.... And for the past 22 years, I am telling you it's been Grace, if you are looking for a miracle, I am pleased to announce to you that you are in the right place... I am a testament that Once God is involved in a matter even the Devil will work for God and God's name will be manifested I'll be making a brief pictorial illustration about the tree... All trees has roots, A root doesn't grow from pleasant situation it grows majorly from DIRT, filled with seen and unseen components imbedded in it's soil... The moment it sees beyond the dirt, it begins to sprout up... One major thing the tree accepts is what I call Elements; Element can only work hand to hand to birth success with the tree If only it has conquered the situation it finds it self in. Elements are Sun, Water, air, etc... The moment a tree sees beyond it dirt, this elements can then come in, and help the tree blossom, to bear fruits in it's due season. . Just like the tree every man is faced with his/her own dirt whether you agree with it or not. There are components, that make it look as if there is no hope beyond that dirt... The earlier you find strength, nutrients, in the dirt (strength) the stronger you become. Find Strength in your weakness... The only person that can write you off is yourself... As long as you are breathing there is hope #fyp #peace # Grace @paultomisin_ @pastoreaadeboyeofficial #Miracle
