Excerpt from Be. A. Tree. - Original Song from Original Musical, La Grande Façade. ✨ Featuring Northampton Cast, @theatrefrontofhouse 🥰

Lyrics:

“Be gold.

Be soft like a tree and grow.

Be one with the sky and hold.

Be the shade in which the others can call home.

Be well.

Be warm like the alpenglow.

Be kind when the days turn cold.

Be the child your younger self would love to know.”

We love you @cbeebies 🥹🫶 adpr

Will share a full review of our thoughts of the CBeebies House Party live soon, but couldn’t help but feel so nostalgic as we watched the show. With her heading up to school soon, I know she’s growing every single day and every time we watch a theatre show or do an activity, she shows she’s just that little bit bigger and that little more independent.

CBeebies is so wonderful for children. The presenters are brilliant on stage and it’s filled with singing, dancing and plenty of interactive elements. There’s a CBeebies bedtime story, and CBeebies friends to party with. It’s fun, it’s interactive and it’s incredibly cute.

CBeebies House Party Live is on a UK tour now! It’s not time for bed, it’s time to PARTY! 🎉🎈

Thank you CBeebies! 💙💛

The Front of House Team were in the town centre yesterday promoting their new show, La Grande Façade
.
In part two of their encounter with Northantsmag, I manage to corner Jodie, Benji, James and Matthew. They reveal that not only are they a well-oiled machine capable of delivering outstanding customer service while rehearsing for a show, but there may also be a few surprises in store — including costumes, 10 original songs, and even more solos and diva moments.
One thing’s for certain: if it’s anything like their last show, it’s going to be a lot of fun.
Tickets available from Royal & Derngate.

This is the grand tour, folks! 🎭 I was warmly welcomed by the fabulous @theatrefrontofhouse at the @royalderngate this video is your backstage pass to laughs, history, and theatre magic. We explored the iconic spaces, including Northampton Film House and they gave me some fascinating tales of the theatre. Now, at the end, you’ll catch a playful sneak peek of the TikTok dance we did together, but the full dance clip is on their TikTok 👀! 🕺✨

Go watch Top G’s Like Me in the R&D Theatre all this week 🙌🏽

Northampton! WOW… 3.3 MILLION VIEWS in just two weeks on my videos 👀👏🏽 I’ve got to say a massive THANK YOU! And today @bbcnorthampton gave me a shoutout without me even knowing… thank you to the one and only @berniekeith55 🙌🏽

Last month I was in Thailand, and now I’m back spreading that same positivity right here at home. I’m so grateful these videos are helping people discover hidden gems and get more involved locally.

Of course there are the occasional negative comments… but they don’t bother me, they fuel the fire 🔥

The journey’s just begun and there’s so much more to come this year. Let’s keep making Northampton shine ✨

Shouts to the businesses I’ve filmed so far: @fatfugu @therealm_northampton @missionchicken @the_smoke_pit @hopsandchops_ @vintageguru_ @stgilescheese @sol.northampton @shipmansnorthampton @royalderngate @theatrefrontofhouse @70oneuk & lots more!

Northampton’s very own @royalderngate - even if you’re not from Northampton you’ve probably visited this theatre. We’re very lucky to have such an amazing theatre right on our doorstep. So many big names had graced their stage including our very own @chattyman - BTW I was looking for @theatrefrontofhouse to do a dance with them but they were nowhere to be seen 😢 next time?

P.s sorry for sneaking into the theatre 😁

2025 recap: October.

One of the biggest months for theme park trips, Halloween is massive, and we did both the Thorpe Park and Alton Towers offerings. No huge changes at Thorpe this year, but it was a fun event, well run. Towers had a new maze with an interesting concept - maybe needs some refining but was still very enjoyable.

At the start of the month I transitioned into a new role at work, as a team lead for a migration project. I travelled to Bologna to attend a 2-day kickoff meeting with my new colleagues, and as part of a team building exercise we had a pasta making class, where we created authentic Italian pasta which was then cooked so we could enjoy it.

Also this month, the local theatre held a special show put on by its front of house staff - I really enjoyed this, it was a fun concept, quite rough-and-ready but extremely entertaining!

My old rowing club, @londonotters held their annual Rainbow Races event, and for the second year in a row I was able to go along and take part. Lots of fun, raising money for a good cause.
