The August Wilson Theatre hasn’t looked the same since August 14th.

That was the night it stopped hosting a play and started hosting a haunting. The effects are so seamless, audiences say they stop screaming 😱 only to wonder how it’s even possible: creaking doors 🚪, a slow mounting rumble, a house that seems to be breathing along with the crowd watching it 🕯️🏠

The fear isn’t just performed; it’s shared. Every gasp in that room is real, and the applause afterward sounds like relief as much as it does praise.

A married couple thought moving somewhere new could outrun their past. Turns out the house was never the problem. It never is 🖤

<Paranormal Activity> opens on “Kids’ Night on Broadway”😱
#ParanormalActivity #broadway #play
#openingnight #immersivetheatre

The magic behind the magic!

From Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to Stranger Things: The First Shadow and Paranormal Activity, illusions designer Chris Fisher is the creative force behind some of Broadway’s most jaw-dropping moments.

Fisher takes us inside the art of making the impossible feel real—and why, sometimes, the best magic is keeping the audience guessing!
