Controversial way of spotting culture and marketing trends? The Cannes Lions agenda 🇫🇷✨ Every year, it accidentally reveals what’s next for brands, influence, the creator economy and beyond. Once again, I’m heading to Cannes and here’s what grabbed my attention (and what I’m squeezing into a calendar that’s already looking slightly ridiculous). 
1. First, there are a surprising number of sessions questioning our relationship with AI 🤖 and celebrating things that can’t be automated: taste, judgment and creativity. 🗒️ On my session radar: Polaroid, Chipotle, P&G (I go to Marc Pritchard’s talks every year - it’s become a tradition), and more… 2. Second, I’ve never seen so many creators on the Cannes agenda! 😊 That’s a massive industry shift! 🗒️ Looking forward to seeing… @dhar.mann @maxoklymenko @hannahstocking @alexisomman @frostedjake @danielvallem @financialjennifer @chinguamiga @gracewellsphoto @omgadrian @benedicttown @jackbenedwards @robmayhewcomedy @andreacasanova @theaustinnull @brandonsmithwrick … and more! 3. Third, the fringe programme is becoming impossible to ignore 🚀 One big event on my radar: @brandsnculture (full disclosure… I had the pleasure of helping curate the programme this year! 😊). Patagonia, e.l.f. Beauty, McDonald’s, Kraft Heinz, @keishabuchanan , @orenmeetsworld ,@gstaadguy, @coldestjoel and amazing brand marketers who will be exploring how brands can make, shape and define culture.
