I feel like the luckiest @dogstarband and Keanu Reeves fan in the world today. Last night not only did I have the chance to meet the band again (picture coming soon) and have it go so perfectly, but then during the show I got the final guitar pick of the final show of their world tour that has been going almost nonstop since the spring.

I have never asked any band for anything at any concert I've ever gone to, but I knew I wanted Keanu's guitar pick and knew they were very uncommon to get (none went out at the Madison show I was at and I barely saw anyone get one over the months). So I'd made a little note on my phone asking and thanking him for one. I just had to try because I wanted one so badly.

During the last song I held my phone out a little and I'm sure he saw it because there were times during the show there was some acknowledgment here and there, even headbanging with me (from what I could tell) at one point as I recorded, and I'm sure he had seen requests like that before. And he did it!

I'll now forever have a souvenir from Keanu Reeves, from the final seconds seconds of their final show of their massive 2026 tour. On a day I talked to him about an XBOX event, and he wished my mom a happy birthday, and shook my hand again. I'm not usually a big celebrity guy, but I love concerts and bands and Keanu has always been my favorite. I just feel so lucky. It really means a lot for it to have happened at all. I will cherish these memories and souvenirs forever.

The drumstick is from the incredible opening band Dogstar toured with all summer, @thebackfires. It was so good to see them again, and after their set the drummer walked up to the front of the stage and tossed the stick right to me. They have a fan for life and I'll be seeing them next time they are in town for sure. That stick will now go on my holder along with sticks I caught from The Killers, In Flames, Slipknot, Fear Factory, Static-X. It is in fantastic company!

Thank you again to everyone involved with the #AllInTour and making all this happen for us fans. Thinking about all this will bring a smile to my face for the rest of my life.

A few clips from the @dogstarband show at The Sound - Del Mar on 9/27/26 with my friend Andrew. Great show, @thebackfires opened strong and Dogstar was a tight 3-piece and fun to watch. They had some really beautiful and unexpected chord changes and transitions in the song Glimmer - my fav from the night. Robert’s constant smile behind the kit was infectious and it was fun seeing Keanu Reeves up close and at one with his bass. Also cool seeing @steviesalasofficial join the band for a song, and perhaps cooler getting hit by the pick he threw into the crowd LOL.
