Thailand road trip starter pack:
1 scooter, 38°C, questionable helmet… and yep — another temple.

Scooter, sun, and zero expectations — that’s how we ended up cruising through Chumphon.

No tourists, no big plans — just a chill ride that somehow led us to a 360° viewpoint with insane panoramic views over jungle, ocean, and pure freedom.

Then? A deer park. Yeah, actual deer chilling just minutes from the beach. Surreal.

Empty roads, local vibes, golden Buddhas popping out of nowhere, welcome to Chumphon!

Took an impromptu trip back to the place that made me fall in love with Thailand—my first home over 8 years ago. There’s something about Pai that feels like stepping into your own version of Neverland. ♡ A town where time slows down—days spent poolside or winding through the countryside, nights filled with golden sunsets, cozy cafés, live music, and a warm chai in hand.

A week is never enough here, but maybe that’s what makes it so special. Until next time, Pai. ♡

Do you dream of traveling the world but think it’s too expensive?

Think again!

With a little planning, you can explore amazing places without blowing your budget.
Here’s how:

1. Stay in hostels or guesthouses- They’re not just affordable; you’ll meet awesome people too!

2. Use public transportation: buses, train and shared taxis are usually cheaper than flights or private taxis and it’s a great way to get closer to the local culture and people !

3. Street food is your best friend!
Tasty, authentic, and way cheaper than restaurants!
And these streets always have super fun vibes or in Asia you can find night market with so many kind of food everywhere!

I can’t believe these palaces exists in Japan and that is cheaper from a hostel !
We ran into this place by accident , lookin for a computer and internet and that where we found out about this crazy thing !

🛋️ Manga cafés (also called internet cafés) are cozy spots to read manga, browse the web, and even rest or sleep!

🕛 Open 24/7 with hourly rates, usually between ¥1500-¥3000.
🚿 Many offer extras like showers, free drinks, and even karaoke rooms!

💺 Choose between open seats (like office chairs) or private booths with a futon or recliner.

🎟️ Easy check-in with forms, passport, and pay at the end.
No Japanese needed, just a translation app!

🏨 While hostels may offer better luggage storage, manga cafés are a cool, affordable option for short stays.

🗺️ how to find:
Manga kissa can be found in most cities across Japan.
Many are located in side streets close to train stations.
it can be difficult to identify a manga kissa as many do not have English signs and they are not usually located at street level, but on a higher floor in a multi-storey building.
To find easily you can just look up in Google :
Internet cafe
Manga cafe

🏩Manga cafés can be privately owned or part of a chain. Private ones are often cheaper, but chains tend to be cleaner and more predictable. For 100 yen, you can register once and speed up future check-ins

So what do you say would you stay in one ?

Our favourite bar in Seoul , is a little neighbourhood bar, located in the heart of Sejong Village Food Street.
Killinbanban is a hipster cool bar, with good music, good beer , and good food.
So if you are going to Seoul , don’t miss it !

Best pizza I’ve ever eaten ! And it’s only 5 euros !
In Napoli you can find it !

- L’ANTICA PIZZERIA DA MICHELE -
Is a famous old pizzeria , using fresh ingredients and wood oven !

The famous scean from eat pray love, where Julia roberts went to eat pizza in Napoli, was shot there !
And you can see pictures from the movie , the workers and Julia on the walls.

You can choose to eat in place (and pay 1€ for the covers) or to do take away .
We set there and it was really nice !

So nowww , how bad you want a pizza now ?
