July 25, 2026 — a day filled with so much love, joy, gratitude, and celebration. 🎓❤️

Celebrating Sky was about so much more than a graduation. It was a celebration of four years of hard work, determination, perseverance, and growth. But even more than that, it felt like the sunshine after the storm of a year that tested us in more ways than we could have ever imagined.

Skylar, I am so incredibly proud of you. Through everything, you kept going, kept pushing, and kept making us proud. I know Mommy and Daddy were smiling down on you that entire day, just as proud as I am, if not more. 🤍🕊️ I know they’ll continue to guide you every step of the way.

Now it’s time for the next chapter… THE Delaware State University! ❤️💙🐝 I cannot wait to watch you grow, flourish, and become everything God has called you to be. This is only the beginning my baby sister.

To our ENTIRE village THANK YOU. ❤️ Thank you for carrying us, loving us, praying for us, showing up for us, and helping us make it through this past year. We truly could not have done it without you. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate reminded us just how blessed we are to have such an incredible support system.

And a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this beautiful day possible our vendors, caterers, decorators, family, friends, and every person who contributed their time, talent, love, and support. You helped make this celebration everything we hoped it would be and more.

We made it through the storm, we celebrated in the sunshine, and now it’s onto the next chapter!

Congratulations Skylar! DSU, here she comes! ❤️💙🐝

This unbeLEAFably delicious veggie lasagna is not only stacked in appearance, but in flavor too! Alternating layers of veggies in a rich tomato based sauce, smooth lasagna noodles, a creamy spinach ricotta layer, and a cheesy crust make this dish legenDAIRY! Put your summer produce to good use and give this recipe a try! 🍝🥒🍄‍🟫🍅🧀🇮🇹

Ingredients

Ricotta
3 lb container of ricotta
3 small boxes frozen spinach, cooked in salted boiling water until tender. Squeeze out all the mixture when cool enough to handle
1 cup grated pecorino
1 egg
Salt and pepper to taste
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (more to taste)

Veggie marinara
1/3 cup oil
3 green zucchini, washed and chopped
16 oz sliced mushrooms
2 bell peppers, rinsed and chopped
1 onion, chopped
4 cups tomato sauce
1 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste
1 bunch basil, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 box lasagna noodles
3 cups shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup grated pecorino

Directions
1. Make the spinach ricotta by combining cooled spinach, ricotta, pecorino, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Taste to adjust seasoning before incorporating the egg. Set in the refrigerator until ready to use
2. Make the veggie marinara by adding the oil to a large pan on medium heat. Add the zucchini, bell peppers and mushrooms and cook until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Add the tomato sauce and 1 cup water and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook 20 minutes or until thickened. At the halfway point, if it looks too thick, add as much water as needed to reach desired consistency. Stir in the basil and red pepper flakes, and taste to adjust seasonings.
3. In the meanwhile, add salted water to a large pot and cook the lasagna sheets according to the package directions
4. Preheat oven to 350. In a 9x13 pan or similar, layer your lasagna. Start off with a thin layer of veggie marinara, followed by lasagna sheets, more marinara, a layer of ricotta, and some mozzarella and pecorino. Repeat these layers until no more remains, with the mozzarella and pecorino on top.
5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly. Wait 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Okay so this insta page is about my background acting… but… did you know I’ve been an event planner for decades!?? My amazing vendors @cristinalang34 @theballoonboss @xeevents killed it today with the staff at the venue. Sharing some of today’s work - in the words of Miranda Priestly… “that’s all”. #itsdebellen
