This month has been all about slowing down.

-slowing down to heal
-slowing down to rest
-slowing down so I can do more

In this season of my life, I’ve learned to give my body more of what it needs. And right now that means things that bring me more joy, feel healthier, & are low intensity.

So more time outside, resetting my circadian rhythm in the ☀️, walks with the dogs, a ton of time at the dog park especially!!! All the little things that signal to your nervous system that you’re safe.

If you’re feeling burnt out, or feel like you’re doing a lot and nothings getting better, I highly recommend slowing down & focusing on resetting/regulating your nervous system.

& for everyone who likes to be productive, there’s this saying that we use all the time at work (which is a military saying actually)

“Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.”

Sometimes you just gotta slow down and take a step back in order to leap forward.

The easiest…no…most efficient way to walk a German Shepherd is with a longboard 🛹

***Warning***
I bit it today because something caught her attention and she B-lined it away from the road 😅 No squirrels were hurt in the making of this video.

Life is filled with blessing great and small! I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey and the bits of laughter and love along the way. Still, I’m eager and exited for what lies ahead!
