We never really know what someone is going through in the inside, especially when they’ve become so used to hiding their pain behind a smile. Sometimes the hardest battles are the ones nobody sees, but that’s why it matters so much to remind each other that we’re not alone and that support is always there.

I hope you can give yourself the time, kindness, and patience you deserve, and remember that what you’re going through right now isn’t permanent. Like everything in life, things change, and with resilience and love, brighter days can come.

Happy New Year! We trust and pray that you are all well 🌹

We are sharing Carmen and Roy’s latest global humanitarian project, dedicated to changing the lives of underprivileged young people and their families in the remote mountainous village of Yaw Boadi, near Mangoase, in the Eastern Region of Ghana 🇬🇭.

These selfless octogenarians continue to work tirelessly to change lives — and with every fibre of their being, they desire to see this school fully completed by April 2026, while they are here to witness its impact.

This is not just a building. Completing this school will drastically transform thousands of lives, opening access to education, dignity, opportunity, and hope for generations to come.

The children, families and wider community in Yaw Boadi are earnestly waiting - hopeful, watching, and depending on this school becoming a reality, with faith that this promise will be fulfilled.

After several years as a highly supportive and effective trustee, the wonderful Carol Ann Whitehead is stepping back from the board. She will continue her support of 50:50 Parliament as an Ambassador.

Huge thanks to Carol Ann for her outstanding service and dedication to the charity - especially for her work on our Amplifying Muted Voice project, for which her work was recognised with a 2024 Baton Award Political Figure of the Year.

🌟 Celebrating the Remarkable Anne Wafula Strike MBE 🌟

Anne Wafula Strike is the epitome of strength, resilience, and inspiration. Born in Bungoma, Kenya, and facing the challenges of polio from the age of two, Anne has turned every obstacle into a stepping stone. She made history in 2004 as the first Kenyan wheelchair racer to compete at the Paralympics in Athens, and after gaining British citizenship in 2006, she proudly represented Team GB, redefining what it means to push boundaries.

As a Paralympian, author, advocate, and MBE honoree, Anne’s story is one of courage and determination. Her autobiography, In My Dreams I Dance, shares her journey of triumph over adversity, while her tireless work in disability sports and charity has left a legacy of empowerment and hope.

Anne’s achievements extend beyond the track. Named a special envoy to the Commonwealth in 2020, she continues to be a beacon of change, breaking barriers and championing equality.

Her story isn’t just about overcoming—it’s about thriving, inspiring, and showing us all that no dream is too big, no goal out of reach. 🙌

A few weeks ago, I was honored to receive the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the incredible @thebatonawards organisation - what a way to end the year!

The more it sinks in, the more emotional I feel. A whole me - Entrepreneur of the Year? It could only be God!

It’s taken me a while to process this win, and I’m still processing it. But with the words I have, I want to encourage every ambitious woman with a vision that feels bigger than her: when God speaks a word, it WILL come to pass. No matter how long it takes or what you think you lack, remember - you already have everything you need to fulfil your purpose!

This award meets me almost nine years into my journey. That’s nine years of becoming this version of myself and building my businesses to the point of recognition. So, darling, trust that the accolades will come, but in the meantime, embrace the process, and know that God will do what He said He’ll do.
