GOD HAS A WAY OF ALIGNING YOU WITH THE ROOMS, PEOPLE, AND PURPOSE YOU’RE MEANT TO WALK IN! 🙌🏾✨

I’m beyond EXCITED and honored to announce that I’LL BE SERVING AS MC FOR THE INAUGURAL KINSHIP CONFERENCE, presented by @blkinthesaddle Black In The Saddle and the Urban Culture Association of Black Cowboys and Cowgirls! 🎤🤎

We’re not just holding the mic, we’re MOVING, SHARING, AND HEALING IN MOTION! 💃🏾👢 I’ll also be teaching line dancing and celebrating the power of movement, connection, and community.

I’m especially excited to share my session, “Boots, Beats & the Saddle: Healing in Motion,” exploring how horseback riding, line dancing, and intentional movement can help us reconnect, build resilience, and find joy through life’s challenges. 🐎❤️

This opportunity represents more than a title. It reflects the journey, the faith, and the reminder that when you stay true to who God created you to be, your gifts will make room for you.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PURPOSE MEETS PASSION! 🌹🔥

Through my Lens.

At the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, I photographed a living Black rodeo tradition — cowboys and cowgirls, family, competition, style, risk and ritual.

This isn’t history being recreated. It’s a culture still being lived, competed in and passed forward.

Hi, I’m Kacie! ✨

Sooo many people asking for the details, so here you go 🤠👇🏽

This was the 15th Anniversary of Black Rodeo USA in Arizona, which took place at West World in Scottsdale, and this was actually my 4th year in attendance.

This time around, I stayed for both Saturday shows, 1 PM and 7 PM.

In previous years, I’ve attended the Friday night 7 PM performance as well, so for those planning to go in the future, there are typically three shows to choose from annually here in Arizona.

Don’t quote me on this but I believe tickets go on sale a couple months in advance and I know they sell out quickly, it only makes sense 🍵

And yes… CLEARLY there were plenty of fine men in the building

😍😍😍

I’m coming for the ladies next time too 😮‍💨❤️

😭 👀 But beyond that, the actual rodeo was incredible.

From the talented riders, cowboys and cowgirls, to the athletes competing in the arena, the horsemanship, speed, skill, and energy of every event always make it well worth attending. 💥❤️‍🔥✨

Whether you’re there for the bull riding, barrel racing, the cowboys and cowgirls, our culture, style … or apparently to see who I’m dappin’ up 😭 😍 … it’s always a good time.

I appreciate all the love and support ❤️‍🔥

See y’all at the next one! 😘👊🏽
