So many folk from Peoria

WHO KNEW THAT I WAS A MIYAGI TO MYSELF for this moment right here!!!!!!

Both nights SOULed OUT!!!!!!!!!

so I wanna say. Whenever you see a crook-d foot-id child outside singing, dancing, dippin, beating buckets with sticks!

So many lessons. So many beautiful people around me helping me be better and better. Drawing by me in the 3rd slide. Animals look me in the eye. Records. Thankful!

Got a great mid-week session of live music & theatre the last few days! Visited the @jazz_showcase to witness @ugo2dachi in all her glory thanks to @amybdanger & friends, then ran over to @goodmantheatre the next night to catch @definitiontheatre ‘s production of @fathambway ! Definitely the heeling vibes I need this week.

I couldn’t think of a better way to close out this crazy beautiful month. Well—besides getting back to this writing desk. ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

Good day, good people!

So circling back to the intimate concerts I was referring to in celebration of 20 years of original music making, I am so excited to be in residence at the Jazz Showcase with my band of talented brothas. It is also the 60th year of AACM - Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians. Come celebrate black history and this milestone moment with us! I have added the eventbrite link to this post. Looking forward to seeing you all! @qimusic @jazzbass171 @deshonnewman @thebeatpusha
