$@thebeldham Don’t let the slow burn fool you 🚨This isn’t your typical jump scare fest it’s a deep dive into postpartum nightmare territory that feels like a spiritual successor to the Babadook or Hereditary. Harper @katieparkerpics moves back to her mom’s creepy farmhouse with her newborn. She starts seeing a bird like witch lurking in the shadows but every one thinks she’s losing her mind. It’s thick dusty claustrophobic You never quite sure if the house is haunted or if Harper’s mind is just fracturing. @patriciaheaton is a terrifying Mother it’s a Total 180 from her sitcom days! No spoilers but the final 15 mins damn!!!! Had to process the revelation when it was over. If you like psychological horror that doubles as a family tragedy A must watch it’s a master class in gaslight horror filmmaker @angelagulner is brilliant definitely need to get her on the podcast. A&B Horror: The Beldham with Director Angela Gulner (Patricia Heaton, Corbin Bernsen)

I chat with filmmaker Angelea Gulner (@angelagulner) about her new haunting and thought-provoking horror, The Beldham (@thebeldham).

Her subtlety intense and claustrophobic film leaves the audience thinking about what they’ve just witnessed long afterwards. Nothing is at it seems for this new mother…

Angela talks about writing and directing her new movie, as well as casting and working with the legendary Patricia Heaton (@patriciaheaton) and Corbin Bernsen (@cdbernsen).

The Beldam is streaming now on multiple platforms, and our full conversation is available on YouTube.
Thanks for watching!
