the end of an era 🎓

The last 4 years have been filled with memories, laughs, successes, tears, friendships, procrastination, lots of quizlet, speeches, hundreds of miles traveled across texas, and throughout all of these things, there were highs and there were also many lows. At the beginning of senior year, I chose three words to focus on through this year "Spirit Lead Me." I understood the meaning behind these words but little did I know that these words would be what got me through senior year. Senior year came with so many things, many highs, but also many lows. I walked through things that I never expected to experience however; three simple words got me through each battle I faced. Three simple words taught by the One who gives us it all. "Spirit Lead Me" reminded that God's plan for my life is so much bigger than the small detours in the road, or the hard days where you just don't know what's next. Trusting His plan for yourself is one of the most life giving things. I've always stood by the words of trusting Gods plan but until this year I never fully understood and comprehended exactly how to live by them. I learned that worshipping can be what gets me through my day and brings peace during the storm. Growing your community of Christ like followers is more than important. Building true friendships & leaning on those people when you need them the most is critical, and most of all I was reminded that no matter what, His plan is the way. We may not know exactly what's next but I know that He will be there to guide each of us through it.

Thank you to every person who supported me and got me to where I am today.

Thank you Sanger High School for the last 4 it's been real, it's been fun, but it wasn't always real fun.

Football is my life, it’s the thing in life that I enjoy the most. It helps me have reason and a purpose in life, it put good people in my life, it helped me become better, better in school and better in life, it helped me become a better example to my younger brothers and to people around me. I made so many sacrifices and put so much time in to this sport and I wouldn’t change anything, I love my class of 2023, and these guys in this class are dawgs and it has been a hell of a ride, I love all them, their my brothers, although this might not be my last time playing football, I will miss these guys and the community of Sanger. #Uno out #22 out
