I only design one or two garment patterns in a year, so when I have two garment patterns in testing at the same time, I’m reminded all over again just what a huge undertaking garment testing is.

It’s not just making a beautiful piece. There’s choosing yarn, taking measurements, checking gauge, following a pattern that is still very much a work in progress, finding the little things that don’t make sense, giving feedback… and then finding the time to actually finish the garment.

That takes a lot of commitment, time and energy.
So today, I’m taking a little trip down memory lane and giving a very special thank you to some of the testers who have helped me bring my older garment designs to life:

It's time for the #FaultLinesPullover tester showcase!! So many stunning sweaters 😍 Please go show some love to these wonderful testers!

The Fault Lines Pullover is a modified drop shoulder sweater knit using an alternating hurdle stitch pattern which creates such a squishy fabric! The pattern goes live this Friday, August 21st! If you want to check out all the details, the pattern listing preview is up on ravelry.

It's time for the #GrandSlamTee tester showcase! This design was so fun to see everyone picking out their colour combos! A lot of testers chose combos based on their favourite sports teams! I have a few more tester pics to share tomorrow as well since I could only share 20 in this post.

Chicago's architectural boat tour was pretty rad. Definitely gives you a different perspective to the city. Not just the views, but also the history of how the city was built. Highly recommended.

Field Museum's Pokémon Fossil exhibition was pretty fun. I wish it was a bit bigger, but there is so much else to see. You'll have to wait until the next post!

The #BisectedSweater launches this Friday, so that means its time for a tester showcase!!

I had another wonderful test group for this pattern, and I'm so excited to share all their beautiful sweaters with you! You can see so many variations here: variegated vs tonal, solid vs contrast edging, worsted vs DK plus fluff, and even stripes! And they all look fantastic!

2025, what a year.

I partnered with so many people and businesses while also doing a few personal projects along the way. This is only a small snippet of the year, but it was hard to pick and choose what all went into this video.

The studio officially opened and it offered so many new opportunities.

But this only includes some of the many people I worked with that I happen to have bts footage of. There is so much more and projects yet to be released.

2025 was arguably the best year of my life. I traveled more than I ever have in my life and was able to see so much beautiful scenery. Washington, Oregon, the UP, Door County, Scotland, the North Shore, and many other local places I was lucky to be able to visit this year. Being able to experience these places with the people I hold near and dear to my heart made it all the more special. I LOVE MY FRIENDS!!! (Alright, wrap it up) Here's to 2026!

Tester showcase for the #QuicksilverSocks!!

This design has a few fun little elements, such as some mosaic knitting colourwork, some cabled butterflies, and anatomical toes! The texture and colourwork show up best with high contrast combos, especially with tonals or soft variegateds, but it still looks great with busier variegateds or lower contrast combos!
