Los Angeles rock and roll band The Bites released their second album, self-titled The Bites, on September 18, 2026. Staying true to their roots, this album brings the fun back to rock n’ roll with everything you want in rock music—an electric guitar and catchy riffs, solid chord progressions, a steady backbeat, and high-energy vocals.

THANK YOU for giving L.A. firecrackers The Bites their second Top 3 UK Rock & Metal album - that’s two for two!

Amazing to see these fast-rising up-and-comers come below only metal giants like Anthrax and Five Finger Death Punch - thank you for making sure new rock continues to break through💪

If you’re still to order their self-titled album, find it at earache.com/thebites (only 6 copies of their very limited white label CD remain!)

I sat down with Jono Richer from The Bites to talk about the band’s new self-titled album!

We got into the making of the record, the inspiration behind the songs, and what went into creating this new chapter for The Bites. I always love hearing what goes into a self-titled record and why a band feels like a particular project represents them at that point in their journey.
