Los Angeles memories, meaningful connections, and a conference full of inspiration! My trip to LA for the National Black MBA Association’s 48th Annual Conference & Exposition was a reminder of the power of showing up, building relationships, and staying open to new possibilities. From engaging conversations and inspiring sessions to reconnecting with professionals and celebrating excellence, every moment offered something valuable to take home. The best part of attending conferences is what happens beyond the agenda—the people you meet, the ideas you exchange, and the connections that continue long after the event ends. Take a look at a few highlights from my LA trip! What’s one conference, event, or experience that left a lasting impression on you? Share it in the comments! #nbmbaa #NBMBAA48 #NationalBlackMBAAssociation #blackexcellence #professionalnetworking #leadership #losangeles #CareerGrowth #mjthecloser #jamesonsothebys

✨ VOICES OF IMPACT ✨ Last week, we gathered at the Skyline Club for the National Black MBA Association® Indianapolis Chapter’s Voices of Impact event, and the gems were REAL! 💎🙌🏽 A BIG thank-you to our amazing panelists — Robin Shackleford, Aundre Hogue, and Chuck Franks — for the wisdom, encouragement, and reminders to keep moving forward! 💎 SEVEN GEMS TO CARRY WITH YOU: ✨️ Bet on you. ✨️ God's plan is always better than our plan. ✨️ Embrace reality and define winning ✨️ We are obligated to be our authentic selves. ✨️ What would you do if you weren’t afraid to do it? ✨️ Take the risk. ✨️ The pivot is necessary in order to see what's next. Read that last one again! 👀 Sometimes the pivot isn't a setback — it's the very thing that helps us see what's next. 🙌🏽 🏆 LET'S CELEBRATE! 👏🏽 Corporate Sponsor of the Year: Republic Airways 👏🏽 Community Partner of the Year: Butler University Lacy School of Business 🎓 And we’re investing in the future! Congratulations to our undergraduate and graduate scholarship recipients. May these opportunities open doors to even greater possibilities! Grateful for the people, partnerships, and purpose behind this event. When we share our stories and pour into one another, the impact reaches far beyond the room. 💙 Which gem speaks to you the most?
