where do i even begin?

it’s hard to believe that my year as your miss ultimate usa jr teen 2025 has come to an end. it feels like just yesterday i was standing on that stage, hoping my name would be called. i had no idea how many memories i would make, how many incredible people i would meet, or how much i would grow throughout this year.

this crown has been so much more than something i wore on my head. it gave me opportunities to serve, to grow as a person, and to create memories that i will carry with me for the rest of my life. every appearance, every competition, every hug, every conversation, and every moment has become a part of my story.

to michelle grace and brady, thank you for trusting me with this title and for all of the hard work you put into miss ultimate usa. thank you for giving me the opportunity to represent this organization over the past year. i will always be grateful.

to my sister queens,

thank you for making this year one i’ll never forget. every single one of you has made this journey so much sweeter, and i am beyond thankful for the friendships and memories we’ve made together.

a year ago, i was praying for the life i’m living today.

i wasn’t praying for a crown. i wasn’t praying for the bright lights, the beautiful dress, the hair, or the makeup.

i was praying that if i stepped on that stage, people would see Jesus before they ever saw me.

i prayed that the judges would see my heart. i prayed that this would be my time if it was God’s will. i prayed for the opportunity to represent miss ultimate usa, and somehow, God answered that prayer in a way i could have never imagined.

the judges trusted me with something that changed my life, and i will never be able to thank them enough for believing in me.

there wasn’t a single day that i wore this title without reminding myself that it wasn’t about me. every appearance, every conversation, every little girl i hugged, every smile, every challenge, every mile traveled was another chance to point people back to Jesus.

now this chapter is coming to an end, and it’s harder than i ever thought it would be.

i keep thinking about the girl who prayed those prayers a year ago. if she could see me now, she’d probably be crying happy tears because God gave her more than she ever thought was possible.

this may be the end of this chapter, but it isn’t the end of my story. i know the Author of my story, and i know He’s already writing the next page. He’s been faithful through every high and every low, and i know He’ll never stop.

if you remember anything about my year, i hope it isn’t the crown i wore. i hope it’s that i tried with everything i had to let people see Jesus through me.

thank You, Jesus.

for hearing every prayer.

for opening every door.

for giving me a year i’ll never forget.

all the glory has always belonged to You, and it always will. 🤍
