We have come to the end of Bath Fringe 2026! 💜🪩

This year’s festival took place over 21 days with more than 1000 people attending our 150+ events hosted at 33 different venues across the city of Bath.

We had some brilliant events as part of Fair Endeavours as well as the Studios Presents Series and a large number of our events hosted by @roundhillbarn, Bath Library, @jesterscomedyclub, @thegrapesbath and @thebellinnbath.

Thank you to all of our organisers, speakers, guests, to everyone who attended one of this year’s events and of course a big thank you to all of our venues!:

🔍 WHO BLOODY DUNNITT?? 🔍

🔍 This Saturday, come watch a double homicide in action!

🔍 The Blank Slate Ensemble presents pun packed naughty noir killer comedy, all delivered with their signature joyful silliness.

🔍 Witness two twisted tales tipping over with crime, curmudgeonry and Agatha Christie crashing out of her grave to cancel us.

🔍 Whether you’re a die hard detective novel fan, or just want a good laugh, there’s something for everyone in this double kill - double bill!

🔍 Ace Detective Luke Warm and not so ace Officer Gethin Hotter attempt to solve complex crimes across the globe (but mostly in the Greater Swindon Area). As the plots unravel faster than our minds, discover the wicked truth behind these sinister stories, and learn why people are calling this show “really sick” and “actually quite upsetting”.

Had a great time this summer touring ‘Sardines’, first in the South-West and then taking it up for a two week stint @edfringe, selling out our final two shows of the run. An incredible journey with an incredibly talented group of humans. Keep your eyes on @theblankslateensemble for our next projects! 🐟🐟🐟

It's that time again... to introduce even more of the team! 🎭

Billie-Jo Rainbird (She/They) is an actor, producer and technician based in Bath. She graduated from Bath Spa University in 2020 with a BA in Acting, and completed Tobacco Factory Theatres’ Trainee Producer course, BLUEPRINT, in 2024.

With a decade of experience in the arts, Billie-Jo started their journey as an actor, but her love of organisation and a good spreadsheet led them to producing for Andraste&Co Theatre Company - who talk about the things you won’t - which they co-founded in 2020. A pandemic-and-a-bit later, and she is also now a proud co-founder and producer of Uncaged Theatre, 2022, who support early careers creatives in the South West.

In the last year Billie-Jo started her career as a lighting and sound technician with Pin Theatre Collective’s ‘He Wears It Well’ which did a whole month's run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2023. Since then, they have honed and developed their skills gaining them an invite to programme her own lighting design for ‘Sardines’ at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2024, for The Blank Slate Ensemble’s two week run.

Billie-Jo was delighted to be invited to join FireKeg Productions as a producer for ‘Shock’; as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and an avid believer in supporting theatre in the South West, the least-funded region for theatre in the UK, ‘Shock’ is a local and heartbreaking story that many Queer folk faced and as such is a story that needs to be heard.

After the success of FireKeg’s script workshop for ‘Shock’ the fuse has most certainly been lit on this project and Billie-Jo is very excited to see where it goes and be the one who helps take it there.

... and needless to say @fire_kegprods is very excited and grateful to have Billie-Jo on board! 🔥
