Spent 48 hours celebrating my aunt’s 46th birthday. I forgot my swimsuit and didn’t have time to buy one so I improvised with my workout clothes. We ate, we sang, we danced, and I fell asleep. I’m still the kid who always falls asleep first at a sleepover. I enjoyed myself and hope you enjoy your week. It’s a good day to be a good day!

This was the FIRST time I’d ever gone away for my birthday because MY day usually is on a holiday and quite honestly, I’ve always written down the things I wanted to accomplish such as family, business, property ownership, etc, but I never brainstormed how to birthday. ⠀
⠀
So, let’s just say I waited more than a decade later to take the trip I wanted to take in my early 30s and let me tell you- the archer in this true fire of a Sag shot all of the arrows!! ♐️⠀

Between the family laughs, seeing the sunrise on the beach, deep belly laughs, drag brunch, the spa appointments, spending valuable time with my high school and college friends, the amazing food, the endless dancing, ANNNND winning the twerk contest (shhhhh), I am abundantly overjoyed.⠀

I miss being outside where my people are!⠀
I used to use the weekends to catch up with friends and family singing, dancing, going to balls, doing last minute brunch meet ups, and just BEING around one another.⠀

I don’t care if y’all are tired of photo dumps but I’m dropping a mixed media photo dump of the people, places, and things I miss.⠀
