One year in and I still think our wedding deserved a documentary.

Our wedding day was everything we could’ve hoped for, loud, emotional, beautiful, and filled with people who love us so deeply. I wish we could bottle up that feeling forever.

This past year brought a lot of change. moving away, starting over, building new routines, navigating hard moments, growing individually and together. and through all of it, I keep finding myself more grateful for our partnership.

Marriage has looked a lot less like perfection and a lot more like choosing each other daily, and honestly, I think that’s made me love you even more.

Happy one year to us. i’d do it all over again.

I found a photo studio, @soloshotstudio in Rhode Island where you shoot the content YOURSELF and honestly… genius.

One thing about me? I’m done waiting until I feel “ready” to post the content, launch the idea, or put myself out there.

You create at your own pace with professional lighting, props, backdrops, and instant photo delivery… I was SAT.

As someone who can be a little camera shy, this setup honestly made creating feel fun again. No photographer staring at you while you pose, no pressure, just you, a clicker, your vision, and an hour to bring your ideas to life.

I used this shoot to create branding content for a new business I’m launching 👀 and left feeling so creatively re-inspired.

Stay till the end… I have a big announcement 🥂

Shot my first styled wedding shoot in Newport, RI and I’m not the same. A few months ago, I said I wanted to step into something new.
This was that moment.

A styled shoot in Newport, Rhode Island, where a vision turned into a full wedding day, led by @cosebellaevents and a room full of insanely talented creatives.
Think: one massive mood board… turned into a real, elevated wedding experience.

And me? This was extra special.
I officially joined @thesocialfrm and will be stepping into my first season as a wedding content creator on the team

Getting to capture moments like this, raw, intentional, behind-the-scenes magic, and deliver them in real time is something I’m so excited to grow in.

I’ve been doing hair for @chandler_austin for over 12 years!! 🤯 it’s safe to say we have crossed into friendship territory!

She comes to visit me all the way from Chicago, and it makes my week every single time - but this time was extra special 😘

… like I said, I feel like Im loud enough - but - it’s fun to try new things!

I’ve been in the industry over 15 years, and I’ve seen so many changes.
I remember when Instagram was as simple as posting a picture and going on with your day and none of us cared about the algorithm or our engagement or reach…

But here’s the thing, just as life is a happening thing, technology is ever evolving.

I don’t always love keeping up with trends - it can feel daunting and overwhelming, but lately I’ve been challenging myself to find the fun in creating content + posting.
