Mother Earth is fever dreaming and we are spiraling in the delirium of her dark nights. Feel her high temps torch forests and ice? See the virus multiply through her exhausted body? Hear truth run distorted through her fiery mind? We are conjuring the medicine of Art that we may one morning sweat out our fever and wake from this collective nightmare. We have a family of sweet feral kitties living in the backyard, so if you’re local and have spare cat food (especially if your cat is finicky like Rory) please let me or @thebonnetmaker know about a potential drop off! Much appreciated.😻🙏Heres’s a peek at Big Daddy, Ginger Baby, and Little Mama as we call them. Still need to get pictures of the more elusive Tortie Girl, top dog Grey Tom, and newcomer Rusty Tom...🐈💕#catsofinstagram #feralcatsofinstagram #catlovers #cathouse #catladies #trampcats #catscatscats

Thanks everyone who participated in WOM CON this weekend!💕✏️It was a delightfully small & satisfying event with local cartoonists @mariahbstory @studiohannahart along with our Artners in spirit (and livestream) @jenhaygoddess @sarahtrustman @paigey_pumphrey @carolynbelefski !👯‍♀️🎈MUCH more intimate & less overstimulating than the usual comic con experience (plus enough lull time between visitors for some flag twirling) it felt great to make some new connections plus geek out with other creators.🤓Thanks @thebridgepai for hosting us as well as @brian_wimer @thebonnetmaker for the great pics! 🙏 I will post a full recap in my blog soon, stay tuned...

Check out #TeenyTinyTrifecta artist The Bonnet Maker featured in C-Ville Weekly!

CM Gorey writes, “The Bonnet Maker traverses empty natural settings and passes through mundane structures given new, ominous contexts; parking lots surrender in post-apocalyptic black and white sunshine... Changes brought on by the pandemic have intensified the isolation of the character and infused the visuals. Much can be said about gender issues, systems of oppression, and contemporary isolation, both self-imposed and those brought about by society” - @cvilleweekly
