On November 19, I’m bringing Calladita No More to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Doing an author event in Puerto Rico has been on my bucket list since Calladita No More dropped last year.

I'm particularly excited to share this moment with my dear friend @joeyspeaker, author of Choose to Live.

Let us know you'll be joining us by reserving a copy of the book today and picking it up at the store on the day of the event.

Order your book on calladitanomore.com (look for link to The Bookmark)

I am deeply proud to bring El dolor que llevamos to my island, Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷❤️

An island that has endured so much suffering, but is not defined by its suffering. A people who carry generations of grief, resistance, resilience, and ancestral wisdom.

We are long overdue for conversations about trauma, the pain we carry, the grief we inherit, and the roots of wounds that did not begin with us.

So often, we come to believe that we are our pain. But systemic, historical, and generational trauma shape how we move through the world in ways we never chose.

We are not the burdens we carry. And we are so much more than what has happened to us.

This moment is especially meaningful as I conti
