You just gotta do it! I know it may be scary sometimes, but do it. You don’t know who is on the other side or who will benefit from you showing up as an instrument of the Lord. This session of Grounded Before Greatness was not only a leap of faith but a testament to how God blesses you when you answer his call.

Journaling with and coaching @dejanea._.oakley and @daejahdaej through this session, proved to me how the Lord brings clarity, peace, confidence, and empowerment through reflection. To have both of these 2026 @thebowerman Finalist present was not only an honor but a blessing. Every athlete was welcome, but as Adaejah said those who needed to be in the room were in the room. Don’t worry this is the first of many!

These ladies put the cherry on top and showed out for themselves, winning Gold and Bronze Diamond League medals in their respective events.

I’ll share my mantra that I wrote that evening,
“Do it scared. Do it with or without every piece in place.
Do it because it’s God’s will and he will carry you through.”

Lastly, thank you to the @graduatehotels and Nike Pre Fontaine for allowing us to share this space for some quality time!
