The age-old question:

Can you actually be your authentic, weird, crazy self and still sell?

Or do you have to polish everything, hide the messy parts, and create an image people can buy into?

I’ve never understood why we’re expected to become a more marketable version of ourselves to be successful.

Personally, I’m more interested in the story behind the person.

Give me the girl who grew up in a trailer park, left her home when she was 17 years old, and worked her ass off to build something in life without a Mom or Dad. Just a dream to make it. I already know she’s resilient. I know she can figure it out. I know she’s not going to blink when the transaction gets hard, or is easily offended.

That tells me more than a polished image ever could.

Because if I’m going to trust you with my business, my money, or my life, I would want to know who you actually are.

So here’s the unfiltered version of me. 🧿

If you told me a couple of years ago that I’d be here today, I would’ve laughed.

Life rarely happens according to plan and real estate wasn’t planned for me at all.
It was an unexpected, chaotic pivot after losing my corporate job. And when I failed the exam 8 times? It tested every single piece of my faith and patience.

But I’ll never forget what I call my, “Elle Woods” moment when I finally saw the word PASSED. It felt like I could finally breathe again and felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I was navigating what I call my, rock bottom and trying to make money come out of thin air for me and my kids.
I didn’t get my first deal until 4 months into my real estate career.
And it took bouncing around to find the brokerage where I truly belonged my second year, but it taught me the most valuable lesson: we all have our own timeline.

Stop measuring your chapter 1 against someone else’s chapter 20.

I believed in myself when the odds were stacked, and somehow I did it.
Beyond blessed for this ride and everyone who supported me along the way.

Whatever you’re fighting for right now-don’t stop.

10 things your agent is negotiating wrong on your behalf. 💋🦈

In a world full of sharks, be an orca whale. They’re cute, squishy & playful,…and you’ll never see them coming.

Orca whales, eat sharks. All day long, and They’re some of the most calculated pack hunters on earth.

How well do you think your agent will hold up in negotiations?

1. Knowing your true bottom line before you walk in, and negotiating from it — not caving to the first counteroffer because it’s easier than holding the line.

2. Your buyer’s agent needs to be a ruthless. If there are no other offers on the table, settling for asking is a weak agent. Remember, they get paid on that commission.

3. Letting the other side set the response deadlines. If your agent lets the buyer’s or seller’s agent dictate the clock, you’re negotiating under their pressure, not yours.

4. Sitting on inspection findings instead of timing the repair request for maximum leverage — the closer to closing, the more the other side has to lose by walking.

5. Negotiating price and stopping there. Closing costs, possession date, rent-back terms, and repair credits are all on the table — leaving them off is leaving money on the table.

6. Not locking in who covers an appraisal gap before you’re already under contract. Waiting until after the appraisal comes in low means you’re negotiating from a weaker position.

7. Treating earnest money as a formality instead of a leverage point — in a multiple-offer scenario, a stronger earnest money position can be the difference-maker.

8. Disclosing the existence of other offers is fine — disclosing the terms of those offers is not.

9. Getting emotional at the table instead of staying calculated. Real estate is emotional, but only for the buyer and seller — never for your agent. You hired your agent to do a job.

10. Not making sure your listing agreement blocks the broker from disclosing your motivating reason for sale.
