@10patx has been a pretty big part of my life for the past decade. Learning jiu jitsu got me in the door, but community is what kept me coming back. I wasn’t the only one. Last night, I received my blackbelt alongside several special individuals who, like me, are in it for the long haul. Many who went from white to black all at this gym.

On the mats I’ve found more out about myself than I ever could have imagined I would. Being able to choke people is just a bonus. Thank you @eddiebravo10p & @curtis10p for creating this space. Thank you to @thebrianwilliamson for the friendship and guidance. And to all of my @10poakhill people, thank you for 2 of the best years of my life. You are all so very special to me. 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢

@10poakhill has been a blast. These are just a few of the many great memories I’ll carry with me from this time together.
