SUNSHINE COAST BRIDES — I’m coming home. 🤍

DUST AND LACE is officially heading back to QLD, and I’m opening a very small number of Sunshine Coast wedding dates while I rebuild my calendar.

Because I’ll already be travelling between NasW & QLD I’m releasing something I won’t be offering for long

“THE SUNSHINE COAST HOMECOMING COLLECTION”

Same DUST AND LACE experience same BEAUTIFULLY OBSERVED, EFFORTLESS IMAGERY. Just a rare chance to book me at a little less while I make my way home.

— if you are planning a #sunshinecoastwedding in 2026 or 2027 and this sounds like your kind of photography, send me HOMECOMING in a DM and I’ll send you the details.

A piece close to my heart ✨

Ash and Adam gave me complete creative freedom, and this cake came to life. Delicate rice paper sculptures intertwined with fresh blooms, each detail shaped with love and intention.

Soft, sculptural and timeless 🤍

💒 That time we had a Heeler wedding. 👰 🤵‍♂️
Just some fun inspired by Australia’s favourite blue cattle dog 🐕. Queensland is Bluey’s world, for real life!
Thanks to @elkandfir for coming out to capture these moments, and Tuffy and Razoo from @eastaussie for being the cutest canine couple. Also special that’s to those who helped this little wedding happen @thebridestree @mcleanandcojewellers @visitsunshinecoast @queensland @officialbluey

Congratulations Olenska & Brady — 1 May 2026 ✨🩷

This River Room reception at @noosaboathouseweddings was an absolute dream… effortlessly modern, romantic, and seriously considered in every detail.

Styled to perfection by @splashevents, the vision came to life through the most beautiful design thread — soft, sculptural arches echoed throughout the space in blush pink & white tones. From the menus to the bar signage and seating plan, every piece of stationery mirrored the curves of our iconic triple-arched bar… and the result? Pure magic.

It’s those thoughtful, design-led touches that take a reception from pretty to unforgettable.

Arches are having a moment — but this is how you make the trend feel elevated, cohesive, and completely your own.

If you’re planning your day, take this as your sign to lean into a theme and carry it through every detail 🤍

Unpopular wedding opinion…you don’t need confetti after your ceremony…

Now I’m a sucker for a big confetti moment, it’s always an incredible way to start the celebrations.

But sometimes it’s just not an option.
And instead of stressing about what you can’t do… we get creative.

These two had a really beautiful bottle waiting for them, so instead of a confetti shot they just popped it, gave it a good swig, and shared their very first married drink.

And I loved it.

It felt relaxed, a little more real and a whole lot of - yeah we just did that!

Now… if you want to absolutely spray it down the aisle? I will 100% hype you up for that too. But these guys didn’t want to waste a drop 😂

But this is your reminder that you don’t have to follow the Pinterest version of an exit.

You just need a moment that feels like you.

So many couples are terrified of this one thing happening on their wedding day

Steve and Caitlin saw the clouds building and decided to push on anyway… and honestly…we absolutely got drenched.

It’s the reason I always carry clear umbrellas in my car and why I’ll ask your bridal party or VIPs to hold them for you.

First, it keeps your hands completely free.
You can hold onto each other the entire ceremony.
Through your personal vows.
Through your ring exchange.
Through that all-important first kiss.

No awkward umbrella juggling.
No weird photos.

Second — it brings your people right into the moment.

On this day, their boys held the umbrellas for Mum and Dad while they said their vows.

And honestly? It was one of the sweetest things I’ve witnessed.

Now yes, I always bring backups and I always have a few to go round…but on this occasion I only genuinely had a handful in the car 😂

So shoutout to these absolute legends who took one for the team and stood in the rain to support their parents in the most beautiful way.

The “worst case scenario” turned into one of the most intimate ceremonies.

Sometimes the unexpected moments are the ones that feel the most magic.

Most couples don’t realise this until it’s too late

But making sure you have time with your guests is one of the most overlooked part of the timeline

The hugs.
The tears.
The “you did it!” squeezes.
Having a drink together during cocktail hour.

Because they didn’t just show up for a party.
They showed up for you.

And I will always make sure you actually get to spend time with your guests on your wedding day.
