NEW YORK… this is what it feels like. More than a show. More than another performance. A frequency. A wavelength. A vibration. A resonance. The remembering. The “putting it all back together” again. Raw. Up close. No gimmicks. No filler. Just bars, presence, and energy you can’t stream. I remember now I was just home for the winter solstice show (December’s 2024 feels like a lifetime ago) …. And it was. If you were at #winterartsfest2024 w @undergroundadvocatez then pull up Family! 🎥 🎤 🌊 This is different. This is an eternal memory. 📍 The Delancey @liveatdelancey 🗓 Thursday April 2nd 🕖 Doors 7PM (we start on time - beat me there). If you’ve seen me before— you already know what time it is. If you haven’t… this is your moment. Drop a 🗽 if you’re outside. — MegaCiph Peace, love, and light. #nyc🗽 #freakwhensee #hiphopmusic #underground

The joy both on the bandstand and in the crowd was captured brilliantly by my good friend and frequent collaborator @gubi_creative. These are just a few of my favorite moments from our annual holiday concert hosted by @brooklynbowl and @therockandrollplayhouse. It was a great way to cap the holiday season, spread cheer, and set the tone for the coming year✨ Thank you to all the lovely families who danced the day away with us! We had a blast hosting Jazz Baby @jazzbabymusic‘s 4th annual holiday concert this past Sunday! So fun getting to hang, cook, eat, drink, and boogie with all 200+ of you who came out to see Mariella @mariellapricemusic & her band perform holiday hits on the Trans Pecos stage! Along with the musical festivities, we had hot chocolate and house-made cocktails flowing, a special batch of chè (!!!), our usual full menu including our ever-popular chocolate toffee salted egg yolk cookies, and Santa (aka our guy Nate) grilling up classic and vegan burgers & dogs. Thanks to all the families, kids, and new and old friends who came out; our Nhà Mình and @transpecos staff; Mariella for organizing and performing; and her fellow band members and special guests for a fantastic show! The band: Eli Paperboy Reed (2025 Grammy nominee), guitar @elipaperboyreed Eric Kalb, drums @eric_kalb Nathan Peck, bass @nathanpeckbass Brad Whiteley, keys @brad_whiteley_music Carter Yasutake, trumpet @fistfullofbrass Chris Cuzme, sax @chriscuzme Special guests: George Marage (2025 Grammy nominee, Harlem Gospel Travelers) @george_marage Diana Hickman @dianahickmanmusic Chauncey Yearwood @chauncey.yearwood Broke MC @thebrokemc and Dyalekt @dyalekt DJ Milkmoney @djmilkmoney It’s been really special watching this become a must-attend holiday staple for our community!
