Curated over many years.

My space started in a closet I turned into a desk nook (I think it helped sell our house), to a basement office without much natural light, now to this space I can’t believe is mine, in our living room, by a big south facing window.

If you’re new here, welcome! Hi! I’m Jenni, a stationary loving teacher, mom of two, wife and lover of beautiful, functional spaces.

I’d still be happy in my little closet desk, because just having a space dedicated to this is all I need. My space is filled with function, beauty and natural elements with calm colours. Things and mementos I have slowly collected my whole life.

What about you? Do you like having a dedicated space or do you prefer to plan nomadically out of a basket or bag? I hope this space inspires you to create a space or spot you look forward to spending time in each day.

With love from your IG planner Bestie,
Jenni

March has been a lot 😳 oh, the things my journal could tell you…

I suddenly disappeared here because my whole work life got turned upside down at the end of February with the unexpected passing of a friend and colleague.

I was asked to step in and teach this class of grade 1’s and 2’s for the rest of the year after they just lost someone so dear to them 🥺 It was terrifying being in such a fragile situation and I suddenly needed all my spare time to plan, and prep so I just couldn’t show up here. I didn’t really get time to grieve.

We somehow got through our first month together and I feel like I have gotten this class through the hardest part and we have settled in together as best we can.

It’s wild what my family and I can get through, how blessed I am to be so supported at work and much I have missed this space and my routines that help me to regulate myself.

Here’s to spring break, the sweet little souls I have the pleasure of leading now, a fresh new month next week and getting back to the things that help me do my best!

Planning lately looks like;

A beautiful mess

An intentional space

A progression
