2022 was full of memory making! We traveled near and far, spent time with friends and family, picked up some new hobbies, watched a lot of volleyball, and enjoyed making every memory💕

Mums are gorgeous until all the sudden they look like you never watered them a single day. Here’s a few tips that might help keep your mums hydrated:

💦 mums soak up water from the roots. watering them from the top doesn’t do them much good. give them a 20 minute soak in a few inches of water.

drain them well before putting them in your planter.

mums love direct sun! place them in a spot that gets a minimum of 4 hours of sun.

🥵 they don’t love heat so keep them hydrated.

If you can, repot them. Their roots get smushed in pots that are too small. That will help with water drainage.

Microwave Paper bag popcorn 🍿

🍿 1/2cup popcorn kernels
🥥 1 teaspoon oil (I love coconut oil with my popcorn) 🧂 Salt (you do you)

Mix all together in a bowl. Add to a brown paper lunch bag. Fold over the top of the bag twice to keep ingredients inside. Microwave for 2 minutes or until you hear the kernels slow between popping. *cooking times will vary according to microwave.

Careful when you get the bag out, it will be hot.
Enjoy!!

Did you know placing the avocado pit will help keep your guacamole from turning brown? Although, I’m not sure for how long, my guac doesn’t last long around here😂

Shannon’s Guac:
🥑 3 avocados
🧅1/4 cup red onion
🌿cilantro to taste
Like juice of 1/2 like (more if you like it limey)
🧂 salt to taste
A mortars & pestle are clutch for guac💕
