One of my favourite things is finding cute, cafe-like spaces that are not too far from my house. So when I found out there was a bubble tea shop in Gwarinpa, I was like, yes please! Definitely.

Now, everyone who knows me knows that I have been a matcha hater. I can’t say I’m fully recovered, but I know for a fact that I deeply enjoyed this matcha ice cream. I literally kept asking, “Are you sure this is matcha? Are you certain this is real matcha?” 😭 Because why was it so good?!

I had the mango matcha ice cream, a red velvet tea cake and a Lotus Biscoff boba tea. My sister had the cookies and cream boba tea and their cinnamon roll.

But honestly, for both of us, the matcha ice cream was the icing on the cake. It was THAT good.

So if you’re looking for somewhere cozy to hang out, especially around Gwarinpa, you should definitely try @thebubbleteashop.ng .

We tried the Strawberry Matcha, Blue Daydream Milk Tea and Red Velvety, and each drink had its own vibe. From the cute interior to the fun games you can play while waiting for your order, this spot is perfect for a girls’ date, a catchup with your bestie or just trying something new.

The drinks, the space, the experience… 10/10 for the vibes!
