Midday market update!!
This morning's bond rally didn't last.

Mortgage bonds are down and long-term Treasury yields just hit a 24-year high as the global bond selloff continues.

If your loan isn't locked yet, now's the time to talk. DM me "LOCK."

Mortgage rates just hit 7.5% for the first time since April 2024, and it's not just about oil anymore. 😑

Here's what drove Monday's bond selloff, why this morning's weak economic data is giving us a little breathing room, and the two reports this week that will decide where rates go next. 🫡🙄

Buying or thinking about a refi? DM me "RATES" and I'll show you exactly where you stand today.

Mortgage bonds are catching a break this morning for back to back days! 📉

Oil just fell for the 5th straight day and the 10-year Treasury pulled back to 4.92% — down from its highest level since 2007 just a week ago.

But here's the catch nobody's talking about… the Fed isn't done yet. ⚠️

Today President Trump is at the UN and said he is open to a meeting with Iran's President, this isn't scheduled yet he just said open to it, so that + a critical Saudi pipeline that may reopen is helping oil price 😉

Watch before you lock or float 👆
