During the weekend Marc had his first taste of racing with the @britishyouthmotocross Dirt Store ACU British Motocross Championship Dirt Store British Youth Motocross Championship in the 65cc class as he had been invited to attend the series because he was one of the top 4 in his club after the first 3 rounds.
It’s been a brilliant experience for him and also for y to watch his development and passion for the sport grow.
From him sitting on the little Honda CRF50, it ignited a passion inside him that is genuinely rare to see. He absolutely loved riding bikes! To think that the Honda 50 would lead him to this point up against some of the top 40 in the UK is a humbling experience and we are so very proud of him.

He couldn’t get in the top 20 at Monster Mountain which was a goal he set for himself. Nonetheless we’re chuffed and proud of his performance and his progress.
Saturday Race 1; 26
Saturday Race2; 29
Sunday Race 1; 26
Sunday Race 2; 26 was 24th but dropped his bike in the final 1/4 of the track.
He needed to be doing 3 minute laps for top 20 but he couldn’t get there.

The calibre and speed of the top 10 was truly unbelievable.
Positions 10 to 20 was approximately 4 seconds a lap difference!

The calibre was HIGH.
Well done to everyone who raced. 👏👏👏

It was an extremely well run event and the professionalism shown from the moment we arrived is to be applauded 👏👏👏.

Marc loved the weekend and is keen for more.

Thanks to our MX family who also had children riding; all of them did you proud 🥰🥰🥰

I finally got to ride my 85 today. Went to Mildenhall and the track was really good 👌
Today was just a day of getting used to the bike and hopefully get technique in- sadly I don’t really do that 🤣.

Dad said at least I was sensible and didn’t try to ride outside of my abilities on a new bike.
I thought I did ok and this clip over the mount was one of the smallest ones. I was getting more air and distance…..soon be clearing the tabletops I think. #mx #motocross #track #dirtbike #2stroke #85cc #gasgas #ktm #petrol

Day 2 of the Easter weekend racing with Norfolk and Suffolk club for Round 3 of the Championship. Race 4 - 2nd. Race 5 - 2nd. Race 6 - 3rd. Almost got the holeshot today but I got pipped by @jackstanford511 who rode great as always. So for both days of racing I was 3rd overall. I even led a race for 3 laps until my buddy @bentleyrussell601mx got past and held me off for the race win and also secured the 1st overall 👏👏👏. Quite sad that I didn’t get my first win today but I’m proud of myself 😊. #motocross #mx #mxkid #dirtbike #race #love #passion #letsgo #brap #braap #doyouwantsome #65cc #65 #racing #mypassion #mylove #lifeisgreat

Weekend of motocross with a race meeting today at Mildenhall with GEST club for the lad @thebullet152
I’m not long home after a 4.5 hour trek from Mildenhall to Epping to Wokingham and back to Epping for me this evening 😬

Great company from @wayne194 Shane Russell Joanne Russell and a few others. Thanks 😊

I have to say that Marc rode very well today and kept his cool and executed the game plan despite a few hiccups in race 2 and 3.
Race 1 was a decent start and he had a few battles to finish the race in 7th.
Race 2 start was so so and he found himself caught up with a crowd who’d piled up in front of him and he had nowhere to go and then someone rammed him down. Got up himself and dragged his bike out and moved off and was reeling pilots in to finish 7th. A really good ride 👏
Race 3 was a really crap start and he ended up stuck with someone in his bike on the second corner,,,,, now 3rd from last and he got going to race past people. I think he was riding so well that he forced others to make errors and he was shooting past and again managed a 7th.
He rode very well today; safe, fast but with a fair bit in reserve, stylish and safe and he made very good sensible decisions.
Loved what I saw from him today 👏👏👏
Overall 6th position for him and he deserved the trophy 🏆

Great riding from his pal @bentleyrussell601mx in all 3 to secure a better trophy for his overall 3rd 👏👏 #mx #mxrace #motocross #letsgo #mypassion #itsraceday #65cc #whensthenextrace #brap #braap #trophy

Thanks very much to our training assistants this afternoon. The two youngsters were very interested in watching the dogs conducting operational training exercises on site today so we asked them (with the parents permission of course) if they would like to be involved.
No hesitation in saying “yes” and here we have a photo after training with a bit of playtime.

Thanks boys. You did excellent 👌
