Had an incredible dinner tonight at The Burrow TC with Rachel! It was the perfect evening soaking in their vibrant, airy space and watching the open kitchen serve up coastal-inspired American cuisine right here in Traverse City.

For her main course, Rachel chose the Caesar salad featuring romaine, lemon, a parmesan crouton, and creamy caesar dressing. She added chicken to it, which turned out to be incredibly buttery soft. I went with the Fish 'N' Chips—perfectly battered cod, malt fries, and house tartar. We finished the night by sharing the gorgeous Blood Orange Tart, made with toasted meringue, a shortbread crust, mint, and segmented orange. @theburrowtc

Friends—- Our local dinner at @theburrowtc tonight was amazing! We had the chicken caesar salad (extra chicken) and the lobster orecchietti fra diavoli… Both were SO tasty and enough to bring home some leftovers. Plus, Jay, our bartender & server is always the best! Check them out. #Localnight #traversecity #justfortheresidents #tvc #tctravel

New Episode: Passport Stamps and Hot Takes | Ep12

We’re finally back together and catching up after a couple of weeks apart. Kristy takes us to London, Alaina recaps a family trip to Manitoulin Island, and we relive the fun, the chaos, and a few Cherry Festival roses and thorns.

Then we tackle two topics that have been on our minds: the hard seltzer craze and whether ingredient labels belong on wine bottles. As usual, we don’t solve the world’s problems, but we definitely have opinions.

Travel stories, hot takes, a few laughs, and a conversation we’d be having whether the microphones were on or not. Grab a glass and come hang out.

Featured Wine: @thirstybirdswine English Rosé, female-owned!

hi, july 🤗

p.s. yes, there’s a “~” before the 108 on slide 4. i lost count about a quarter of the way in and eventually decided not to worry about it 😅 i think that was probably the point anyway.

Every time I visit a new town, I skip the bestsellers and head straight for the staff picks.

I figure the people who spend all day surrounded by books probably know something I don’t.

A handwritten recommendation gets me every time.

This stop at Bay Books added three more books to a TBR that absolutely didn’t need any help.

What’s the first section you head to when you walk into a bookstore?
