Flying cars they said. I'm pretty sure there is some news about a Tesla flying car? Yeah. Really, there is not a better movie trilogy than BTTF for flying cars, or just a trilogy, period. The Cadets did a tribute of it in 2007. It's an awesome clip considering how much I love the movies.

Really missing these guys extra today. It has been 3 years since the announcement of their 2024 hiatus from DCI. They never came back after. This was their last moment. FHNSAB.

Next up on our 2021 season series is the Cadets 2021 program, "...Shall Always Be"

Just a signature moment. I have never seen a crowd pop this crazy in DCI. An amazing tribute in a unique season. FHNSAB.

Just as a reminder, the 2021 DCI season was an exhibition style (no scores) and an abbreviated tour length, even from today's standards. 2021 was a crazy time for DCI. There were so many experimental shows, and concepts that would never grace a competitive setting.

Do you like what @thecadets tried in 2021?

Today marks an important but tragic day in United States history, 25 years since the attacks on 9/11.

2,977. The number of lives lost in one attack. Today, we all acknowledge and honor every one of those lives.

The Cadets honored America and those effected by 9/11, by fielding a show based on 9/11 and uniting America. The picture at the top, and at the end of the show "Raising the Flag at Ground Zero" was recreated in the show, off of the real life photograph, depicting the event, where a group of firemen raised an American flag on the ground near the collapsed Twin Towers.

10 years ago today, Cadets2 broke DCA, made history, and gave me my very first gold medal.

Somehow an entire decade has passed, but I swear this still feels like yesterday. I can still remember the feeling of hearing our name called, putting that medal around my neck, and realizing we had actually done it.

Forever grateful I got to be a tiny piece of Cadets2 history.

2016… you’ll always have a piece of my heart.

That day I truly came “Full Circle” ♥️💛⭕️

Only 43 corps have ever reached a DCI Finals since 1972.

Santa Clara Vanguard leads at 52 appearances. The Cavaliers, Blue Devils, and Phantom Regiment sit tied at 51.

Ten corps made it exactly once, from Bleu Raiders in 1972 to The Academy in 2016. Spirit of Atlanta returned this year after a gap since 2013.

@thecadets 2023 🔥 A legendary throwback 📸

This line is one of the best that I’ve ever heard. The insane level of clarity this group achieved with some of the most aggressive beats out there was, and still is, something special. I’m grateful I was able to catch one of their lots live to grab these shots and hear that sound in person. Long live the legacy of The Cadets 🔥

Only 15 corps have ever medaled at a DCI World Championship since 1972.

Blue Devils lead the all time count by a wide margin · 42 total medals · 21 gold · 12 silver · 9 bronze. That is 17 more total medals than second place Santa Clara Vanguard, who sit at 25.

The Cadets and Cavaliers round out the top four, and this list only goes as deep as bronze. Full breakdown in the graphic above.

*This takes into account placement more so than an actual medal being received.

HAPPY FINALS!! as the 2026 season comes to a close, we thought it would be a good time to reflect on past distinct eras of DCI and how far we've come in uniform identity!

thank you to @naonao.dbc who drew 13 corps in different iconic uniforms throughout the years!
