Hilux doesn’t do „sensible.” Neither did we. Volcanoes, crocodiles, tornadoes... we even built a snowy mountain in the South African summer heat to pull it off. ART by Zollie, survivor, artist. Most survivors are told in a hundred quiet ways, to stay quiet and stay small. Art was how Zollie found her voice, long before she found her words. Our vision is being turned into something real, a safe place for survivors of Gender-Based Violence to find refuge, support, dignity and hope when they need it most. It means saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and helping to amplify the message through this film. Our ultimate dream is a world where safehouses are no longer needed GBV MUST be eradicated. BUT until then, We will keep speaking. We will keep fighting. We will keep shining a light. None of this happens alone. Thank you to everyone standing behind this film and this Safehouse. Was very excited to be speaking my first ever line of dialogue in an ad (and Audi! Woo!) - seeing it dubbed in German was a surprise hahah I’m still hoping an English version surfaces one day so I can truly claim I used my voice in an ad but for now, stoked nonetheless. Be patient as I only pop up at the very end but for a brief moment I got to live out a childhood dream of being an air hostess. Wonderful team. Grateful 💗 Client @audi Director @alberturia DOP @julian.robinet HMU @kellypaitakihairmakeup @niena.artistry @1stproductions @thecastingco.tv
