Feeling incredibly honoured to receive the Award for Contribution in Graphic Design from The Cameron Day Charitable Trust. @thecdct
Being recognised for something I’m so passionate about means so much to me. What makes this award even more special is the inspiring mission behind the Trust. Founded in 2022 to continue the legacy of Cameron Day, a remarkable young man remembered for his creativity, determination, hard work, and kindness. The Trust supports creative young people in realising their potential while keeping Cameron’s values alive.
I’m truly grateful to have my work recognised by my tutors and an organisation with such a meaningful purpose, and I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout my creative journey so far. A big thank you to @barrietullett for handing me this award and also to @johndowling_uk, @andyweekesphoto, @armchair_hero and Rowan for supporting me through the past three years at university. I couldn’t have done it without you all.

Congratulations to our winners and nominees for this year’s Cameron Day Charity Trust grant - awarded to students who show great commitment to their studies, are passionate about the subject, who advocate positively for the industry and continually strive to excel and develop themselves.

Laura Flatt (year 2) Abby Muir (year 3) and Miroslav Glavchev (Year 3) are all thoroughly deserving of this recognition and should be so proud - well done!!

It’s such a privilege to be involved with the CDCT, established in memory of Cameron Day, a student at Lincoln University. Thank you @thecdct for helping uplift so many creative students across the midlands.

I’m honoured to have been awarded the Cameron Day Charitable Trust (CDCT) Grant, 2026.

The trust is held in memory of Cameron, making this recognition especially meaningful. It’s a privilege to receive an award connected to something that carries such significance. Thank you to my lecturers for putting me forward and supporting my final project, “Al & Us“. The project explores how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping design, redefining the role of the designer. I’m grateful for the £500 grant, which will help me to continue developing and pushing the ideas for this project even further.

This award is given in memory of Cameron Day, and recognises students who demonstrate creativity, commitment, and a positive, determined “Cam-do” attitude within Graphic Design. To be recognised in this way feels incredibly meaningful, and I’m very grateful to have been selected.

👋🏻 It is time for us to say goodbye to @_studiolucy after having her intern with us in the studio for the last month. She won her internship through the amazing Roulette 2025 competition run by @thecdct and was selected out of a strong portfolio of entries.

Over the last month she has had the opportunity to work on live projects, getting involved in client meetings and seeing industry life first hand.

We wish her all the best in her future career!

Last week the wonderful Larry Lamb joined us for an evening of chatting about his new novel All Wrapped Up, his career as an actor, Gavin & Stacey, anything & everything about his life, and it was just a gorgeous evening! ✨ We raised £420 for @thecdct Tim’s charity set up with his family in his nephew’s memory. Thanks so much Larry and all of you 🐑

DMUGRDN - 2025

It’s hard to believe that just three years ago I’d never even heard of InDesign, and now I’m within touching distance of a graphic design degree.

On Friday night these three great years culminated in our degree show, and I think it’s fair to say that we all worked hard for it. Everyone’s stands were incredible, and they were topped off with some fantastic branding, credit to the degree show team!

Thank you to the tutors for giving me the opportunity to do a little speech alongside fellow student rep @lily_reynolds_illustration

I’m incredibly grateful to the Cameron Day Charitable Trust too, who awarded me with one of the grants for 2025 at the Degree show!

A huge thank you to all my tutors and friends who have made it such an incredible experience, I will miss you all so, so much. Lots of Love 💙💙

Marking the end of an era - The Degree Show.

The week leading up to the degree show was busy right up until the last minute and in all honestly, was a little stressful - but seeing my work finished on the stand, and being able to walk around and see all my classmates work displayed makes it so worth it!

And to top it off, I was awarded a grant and certificate from The Cameron Day Charitable Trust (@thecdct ) which I'm so unbelievably grateful for. If anyone hasn't heard of them or what they do I highly recommend checking them out as they create amazing opportunities for students❣️
