My most recent Star Trek photo: nameless injured planet inhabitant being tended to by Dr. Beverly Crusher. 😄😄😄 This was taken by @forestsedge_studios at this spring’s Star Trek shoot with @theceethree and his gang o’ Trekkers. I was actually going to be in the shoot, but then I broke my right foot and had surgery on my left hand… so injured planet inhabitant worked. I have two Trek cosplays I am working on but I may end up finishing them for First Contact Day in April. 🤣

More Star Trek pix coming later today as part of the 60th anniversary celebration of Star Trek!

Thanks to Erin aka Beverly Crusher for putting up with my shenanigans!

Happy Star Trek Day! Sixty years ago today, the phenomenon that became the Star Trek universe debuted and literally made history… multiple times! To celebrate this anniversary day, we present a montage of Star Trek cosplays across the many different series and movies. A huge thank you to those who submitted their photos for this tribute:

And a huge thank you to the photographers whose work made this possible!

Apologies for the lateness of this post. We had extraordinary difficulty with the sound bed for this project and, after hours of battling with copyright issues (despite our paying for permitted, licensed use of music), we gave up and used an “epic inspirational” and generic sound. 🤷🏻‍♀️

As for those of you who we know darn well have Star Trek cosplays — we’re looking at you, California and Northern Ireland and Florida and New York and and and — we will of course have Star Trek Day 2027 for you next year!

It’s been a while since I last posted. Sorry about that. As much as I’d like it to be, photography is not my main job and my “real” job has been very demanding lately. I’m also without wheels: a driver in a F-150 Raptor plowed into me as I was turning into my driveway. I’m okay. We’re keeping an eye on my son, who was in the passenger seat (the side that got hit). He keeps insisting he’s okay but his shoulder has been bothering him since, so… 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyway, here’s one of the shots I took at the Grand Rapids Star Trek shoot last November.

The other day, I shared a bit about my journey, but today I want to dive deeper into why I’m doing this and why now is the perfect time. 🕰️

Like many Gen Xers, we worked hard, but we never invested enough in our future. Over the years, I realized I wanted more security, not by replacing my job but by supplementing it with something meaningful. I want to build a financial future that empowers me and helps others do the same. 💸

But beyond that, the opportunity I found was a game changer. This company did something for the direct sales industry that nobody else has done. That level of commitment and passion made me realize this was the right choice. It wasn’t just about products; it was about creating something bigger. That was the moment I knew: this is it. 🌟

If you’re curious about what solidified my decision, comment video, and I’ll share the video that inspired me. 🎥✨

I’m not here to replace anyone’s 9-5, but I am here to empower women to supplement their income, build their dreams, and grow alongside me. Let’s do this together. 🙌

More information loading soon… Keep following to see what’s next!
