The lineup is locked. Time to clock in. 🔒

Headlining: Section Five, in Kenya for the first time. The voices that form some of your favourite playlists, finally in the room.

On stage: Dre on the drums. Kato Change on the decks.

And the selectors keeping the night alive:

MURA. His album lands on the 16th. On the 17th, you hear it the way it was meant to be heard: loud, live, at KODA, with the man himself running the room. An exclusive album listening party disguised as a night out.

CHEEK-O DREAD. The only thing to dread is leaving early.

GORILLA FACE. Pure energy from the first track. Watch the floor change the second he steps up.

WANDVT. The name sounds like a spell, and the set plays like one.

IV. A household name, and you know why. Behind the decks, she leads you somewhere you didn't know existed, and you never want the way back.

ABBY. Everyone knows the name. Ask the ones who've seen her play and they'll tell you that you had to be there. Now's your chance to be.

General Admission KES 1,500
Asonwabe (couple tickets) KES 2,800
Avengers Assemble (Group of 5) KES 7,300

Afro house. Afro tech. 3-step. Nine acts, one shift, a different kind of clock in with overtime dancing.

The guesses were chaos and we loved every second. 😭

MGM. Tina Ardor. It is the hat, isn't it...?😅

Suraj. Winyo (the song did you dirty, we know).

H.E.R. Lenny Kravitz?! We love the ambition and we appreciate the artist ideas💛

And Embaramba, who we're still laughing about.

Our clue was a mess. You still showed up.

The real answer....Kato Change🎸

Producer, guitarist, DJ and sonic innovator, and a 2025 Latin GRAMMY winner as a credited producer on Luedji Luna's 'Um Mar pra Cada Um'.

He has played Rock in Rio 2024 and the Latin GRAMMYs in Las Vegas. He has been lead guitarist and bandleader for Tusker Project Fame and five seasons of Coke Studio Africa, sharing stages with Salif Keita, Seun Kuti, Aloe Blacc, King Sunny Adé, Ne-Yo, Yemi Alade, Jason Derulo, Fally Ipupa and Burna Boy.

African traditions, jazz, blues and electronic sound, rooted and unmistakably his.

And yes, Suraj and Winyo, you were closer than you knew: he made the Afro-house EP Sazile with them.

Now we get to experience his greatness at KODA. This time, on the decks.

And Section Five are in the building the same night. Voices like that, a hand like his. We're not saying anything. We're just saying....🤐
