When I started coaching @charlottedickson back in 2022, our coach client relationship quickly blossomed into a friendship. We bonded over dogs, long walks, good food and wine, and a run that ends with an ice cold beer in the sun.

Charlotte came to visit me in Marlow this weekend, and it was filled with all our favourite things:

An 11 km run/walk along the river and through the countryside
A Michelin-starred lunch at The Coach
Rosé in the sun in the pub garden
Lots of doggy snuggles with Toby
Cheese and red wine

My cup is full, even if my body battery is empty. Because balance isn’t something you find; it’s something you create.

Beautiful Marlow and The Coach, a one starred Michelin pub by Tom Kerridge 👌

Marlow is without a doubt one of the loveliest locations on the River Thames and my favourite place to visit each year in the UK.

If you enjoy beautiful riverside walks, boutique shopping and exceptional food, then Marlow is definitely worth a visit.

The Coach by Tom Kerridge.

Enjoy plates of seasonal tapas style pub food set in an informal setting, which is great when you have been for a long walk finishing in this beautiful town, you don't need to worry about getting dressed up for a Michelin Starred meal 🌟🙌

I loved this restaurant because I could try more than one dish, I'm a big foodie, so I always want everything on the menu and have massive food envy 🙈

The food was delicious and the service is great, I just wish I'd ordered more! 😍

Tips: we ordered 5 dishes and if I'm honest we could have fit in a couple more, I'm definitely ordering the lamb and monkfish next time!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me 😋

You asked for a little tour, so here it is!

We have just come back from the most relaxing and calming weekend. It was just what we needed!

Tucked away down a small country lane in Buckinghamshire, is the sublime @thewildrootescape

The perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of day to day life and reconnect as a couple.

You can easily spend your whole time on site, enjoying the cabin, outdoor bath, sauna or having wonderful treatments but there are also fantastic places to visit locally like @peterleymanorfarm and an incredible national trust property @hughendennt and Marlow is only 20 minutes away to be able to enjoy the fabulous @cheftomkerridge restaurants such as @thecoachmarlow

The hosts of @thewildrootescape Jess and Jamie, are fantastic; always on hand to answer any questions you may have but allow you space to be able to fully relax and enjoy yourselves.

The perfect spot for you to have a chance to spend time as a couple and would also make the best spot for a babymoon!! Do consider it if you’re planning a fab staycation.
