POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

POV: You went into nature for some peace and quiet. Your inner disco had other plans.
Because apparently, my idea of finding myself involves losing myself to a good tune.

A little movement. A little mischief. A lot of joy.

Who said getting healthier had to be boring?

Less fixing yourself. More remembering yourself.

A little bit naughty. A LOT of talent.

Last night at The Colony in Woodstock, I watched performers combine incredible strength, flexibility, athleticism and sensuality with the art of performance.

The control. The confidence. The toned bodies. The sheer physical strength behind what makes it look effortless.

There’s something rather wonderful about women owning their bodies, celebrating their sensuality and having the confidence to take centre stage.

💋

Art, pleasure, a little decadence and a whole lot of talent.

Now THAT is Healthy Hedonism.

Thank God it’s Ayurveda Day because… it’s been a DAY. 😂🌿

Slow down, darling.
Eat warm food. Breathe. Digest. Repeat.

A little weekend love from Kripalu. 🤍

I brought my favorite people, slowed down, ate very well, walked a lot, meditated a little, laughed a lot and remembered that sometimes the best kind of getaway is the one that leaves you feeling more like yourself.

This is the beauty of Kripalu: a place to pause, reconnect, restore and simply be.

And yes, I may be biased… I’m lucky enough to be part of the Luminary programming team here.

Maybe the new staycation is less about escaping your life and more about coming back to it feeling renewed. Thank you to @kripalucenter for all the love and warmth we felt during our stay. 🤍

Chakra Khan is BACK, darling.

50, sparkly, slightly wiser… and with her cup VERY full.

London gave me family, friends, dancing, fabulous food and one hell of a birthday celebration.

And it got me thinking…

What if getting older isn’t about losing your sparkle… but gaining flavour? 😉

I’ve written about what my 50th taught me about friendship, movement, joy, ageing well and actually enjoying the life you’re building.

Have a read. Then tell me: what’s getting older taught YOU?

Come on, darling. Let’s talk about it. 💋

High summer has been so incredibly beautiful in the Hudson Valley this year, truly spectacular!

I wanted to share a great recipe to help you enjoy it even more 🐞

Ticks are a pain in the butt and a reality when navigating our gorgeous fields and forests.

In the past, it has kept me from attending outdoor events or left me feeling restricted during a hike or concert, toning down the green freedom of this phenomenal area 🌱

This recipe combines some powerful natural elements in a folk blend meant to be passed on to friends and loved ones 🧡

We have found it to be very effective and you most definitely will smell like a spicy salad

Combine the ingredients below, put it in a spray bottle and shake it before use

Tick spray
5 drops eucalyptus essential oil
5 drops clove essential oil
Two cups distilled water
2 tablespoons ACV *apple cider vinegar

Much green love xox
