Hey there friends!! How is your Tuesday going?? Not much to report from my end; just over here thinking about Halloween and keeping my kids on track. LOL
.
.
So a few months back I found this really cool Alice in Wonderland coloring book, at the Goodwill. It was published in the early 1970s. When I started flipping through it, I was in awe. Ok, honestly, my first thought way, "How cool would these pictures be to display for Halloween?!?" I mean, aren't they so creepy cool?
.
.
I tore a few pages out and added them to these clipboards. I think they really add a great vintage, spooky-ish kinda vibe! What do you think?

Happy Tuesday! The leaves are taking a beautiful fall turn here!!! Fall doesn't last long in Alaska; but boy does it shine!
.
.
As much as I'm loving my fall decor, I'm excited to pull out some Halloween! I have some fun plans for some spooky decor! 🖤
.
.
My hubby is leaving very soon; so I want to make the holidays fun for my kids. I'm hoping some fun decor will keep their mind off him being away.
.
.
Do you like to decorate for Halloween? Or do you prefer to keep it fall-ish?

Ditch decor is the best decor!!! Totally free, fun and gorgeous too!! Mine is more like parking lot decor, but I want to share my friend Amber’s new hashtag with you today!!!
.
Yep, these beautiful pampas grass plumes came straight out of the parking lot at my husbands office!
.
I’m thinking they are two different kinds of the same plant or one may be a different kind of grass, but they sure look good together!!
.
Head over to Amber’s account @trendifarmgirl to see hers and use her cute hashtag, #ditchdecor to share your own version of free and fabulous decor!!

Happy Wednesday friends! Hope you have had a great day. Once again, it's gloomy here. I guess the weather is preparing us for what's to come. Lol
.
.
I threw this pretty vignette together this afternoon. I was feeling all the vintage vibes today. I love this beautiful chair. I found it at a Goodwill Outlet for $2. It needs some wood glue around the spindles; but still a sturdy piece.
.
.
If you have followed me for some time, you know I love vintage suitcases, and display them in my vignettes often. I just love them so much! Could you imagine the stories they could tell?? The stories of travels and visits?! I bet they would have some amazing ones.
.
.
Do you have a favorite piece of decor you love using here and there in your vignettes or displays?

Happy Tuesday friends! It's been a gloomy day here; but the fall colors are really peeking out now! It looks like the highs the week are only going to be in the 40s!
.
.
Alright, onto the fun stuff.....like vintage amber bottles!!! Seriously, I really don't think you can ever go wrong with an amber bottle....no matter the season! I especially love to add them to my decor during fall. The beautiful color mixes so well with the gold and orange hues of the season!
.
.
Are you an amber bottle fan?! Do you use them year round or just fall time?

Hello friends! 🍂
.
Happy Friday and welcome to another week of #copycatvignettes where we recreate your lovely vignettes as a way to share love and lift one another up. We would like to thank Skadi @middcolorado_life and our girl Melissa @misma74 for being our feature last week. We enjoyed having you!
🧡
This week we are welcoming Jenn @downshilohroad who recreated a post created by Kellie @thecoefam_k!
This vignette gives all the fall feels with golden amber bottles, pears and pumpkins. Of course, the star of the show... a lovely vintage scale🤎 Who else is excited? 🍁🍂
.
💛To play along, find a vignette that you’d like to copy, ask the original creator for permission, and recreate it by using similar items with your own creative touch!

Happy, Happy Friday friends!!! Oh, and it's a long weekend too! Any plans for the Labor Day weekend? I think my husband plans to go fishing; which I let him do with friends. Lol I'm just not into it.
.
.
So yesterday, I was throwing some fall things together, trying to create some vignettes. I've come to the conclusion you can pile a bunch of faux pumpkins anywhere, and it throws off fall vibes! 😂 Don't be shocked to see this same pile of pumpkins, on my feed, in various settings this fall. I promise to make it exciting! 😆🍁🎃

Happy Thursday friends! The sun was peeking through the windows today; and I was so happy to see its presence! It has been raining here for the past few days.
.
.
While enjoying my coffee, I looked over and saw this gorgeous sight! The sunlight was hitting my amber bottle just right, creating a gorgeous reflection on the wall! The soft warmth from the light just felt like fall!
.
.
Fall mornings are my favorite! Crisp cool air, soft warm sunlight, and the smells of pumpkin in the air. Ok, maybe that last one only happens when you forget to turn your wax warmer off overnight! Lol Let's just say, I was greeted with the smells of a "pumpkin harvest" when I came downstairs this morning! 🤦‍♀️
.
.
What is your favorite thing about fall?

Happy Monday friends! Behold, the fall planter/trashcan/whatever you want to call it that I spent yesterday putting together. ⁣
⁣
This project actually got a "I'm really proud of you" out of my husband. 😂 But I think it's just because he's really glad we have somewhere to hide the dog 💩 bucket on our porch now. I just love when DIYs are functional. 🙌 Swipe ➡️ to see the planter in action. ⁣And let's just all pretend it isn't too big for my tiny porch.
⁣
Also threw together this cute DIY porch mat with my @officialcricut this morning to kick off decorating for fall. How about y'all, have you started transitioning or just not ready for all things pumpkin yet?
