My first @officialpax_ event with @hiddenpowerpod and friends was a full-out sprint, but it could not have been more amazing. Grateful to be entering this industry with such good friends by my side. Oh, and kicking ass in @pokemon Champions was pretty sweet, too. 💪

finally attended my long-awaited first pax east this weekend 🥹 it was really great to be back in boston for something other than playing a show for the first time in years ‼️ still such an insanely packed trip though - watched my first in-person gdq runs, played some great unreleased games, and met a lot of awesome people. got to see so many gaming friends from all over, and i treasured every minute of irl hangs 😭

got to make it a group trip with my love @gunnarjamesarcoleo and my longtime friends @matthewleta and @katiesoko, it was so wonderful road tripping together and spending quality time 🙂‍↕️

20 years ago, my 7th grade dance class at @mckinleymiddlemagnet225 @mckdancedept took a trip to New York City- 31 hours on a train with my best friend and the furthest I'd ever been from Baton Rouge. I remember being so captivated by the city, it's endless possibilities, and all of its residents. The way they moved as one but each had their own individuality that added to place they called home.... Even back then, I know it wouldn't be the last time.

Fast forward 20 years to me, a director, writer, and performer, creating a film about that same very need to find a sense of belonging and refuge in the place you call home. I couldn't have imagined how I would end up here but I knew that it was possible with love in my heart and around me. We kicked off the @seedandspark campaign for @homeaway.film with the same energy and spirit of love! To see so many friends, new and old, that have made every place I've been in life feel like home, was a transcendent experience. Cultivating that feeling for others is what I am doing with this film.

Thank you to everyone who has joined the journey so far and to those who will join along the way- the space is open and ready! Help up bring the film to life and create the spaces for us to exist fully and unapologetically.
