Philly has a talent problem — and I’m speaking on it at @1776labs at Penn 🎤
October 23–24 at Penn Venture Lab, students, innovators, and public leaders are coming together around deployable AI: real solutions that strengthen government and improve people’s lives.
My focus: too many young professionals want to build their careers in Philadelphia, but can’t find the opportunities to grow here. I’ll be talking about how we leverage technology to break down those barriers — expanding access to economic opportunity so the next generation doesn’t feel they have to leave Philly to succeed.
If you’re in the city, come through.

AI’s made it so that any founder can ship an MVP in a day or two, and almost anyone can duplicate a feature once it’s launched. Being first to market just isn’t enough anymore.

So how do we win? How do we stand out in a sea of “sameness”?

Pleased to be leading the discussion on this during during @dcstartupweek, the DMV’s largest conference of over 8,000 founders, innovators and gamechangers (Oct. 19th-23rd).

On Thursday 10/22 I’ll be moderating “Is Your Business AI Ready?” and be joined by some genius-level panelists, including @bethlehem.belaineh and @natarsha_wright, among others.

Hit the link in @theconnectdc bio for tickets to THE conference for anyone in or around Tech. See you soon.

Which friend are you—the bright one, the bold one, the smooth one, or the unexpected one? 👀

Bring your people. Grab a cocktail, order something good for the table, catch the game, and let the music and the room do the rest.

Tell us which one you are, then tag your crew and tell us who’s who. 🍸

Friday Jr. grew up.
