Friday the morning of my wedding with the beautiful, inside and out, Mary Louise, I said, “Daisy, you know how sometimes when I get over the moon happy, I get a little …”

She interrupted, “Annoying?”

I responded, “Well, I was going to say eccentric or maybe weird.”

Friday evening we celebrated our union with family and friends at Riva Grill with sun-setting views on Lake Tahoe’s water and mountains in front of the crazy talented musician, comic Jeff Connor (AKA @theconnorparty), and I accidentally combusted into my happiest of all-time happy dances, and the lady at the table behind us just happened to zoom in on Daisy’s face.

At the end of each day, we are what we are, and we’re not what we’re not.

Thank you, Mary Louise, for embracing, accepting and loving me like you do, and thank you for signing up for the ride of our lives with me. I love you completely and wholeheartedly with every cell of my body and every morsel of my soul!

The best is yet to be!

ARTIST FEATURE 📣 @theconnorparty is coming to the Jenkstar Ranch for Building Man 2026!

Jeff Connor of the Connor Party might make you sing, might make you dance, might make you laugh, might make you cry — and he’s probably going to freestyle about whatever’s happening right where he’s standing. When he’s not on stage, he’s raft guiding the Grand Canyon, wintering in Mexico, or living life at the edges in Lake Tahoe and Alaska.

April 30 - May 3, 2026 | Green River, UT
