sky ryders 2026: what was already there🪓❤️‍🩹
my THIRD season with this amazing corps. i wouldn’t trade it for the world. i want to thank everyone who made this opportunity possible: my family, my friends, alumni, and donors. this season truly broke and healed so many things in me. i have learned so much about being a performer and a person. this corps has grown so much in the years since it was reborn and it is only going to grow more. it is truly such a blessing to grow along side it and lead in the way i’ve been able to. i love sky ryders, i love dorothy, and i love the tin man. they own my whole heart.

Tour post 3/3 - The End

I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to talking about the relationships and connections I made at the troopers because even just thinking about it makes me feel like my heart has been ripped out.

I suppose a good place to start is a thank you. Thank you to those who immediately welcomed me in and showed me warmth and compassion, giving me a reason to come back and give my all every day no matter what I faced. Thank you to my team hands for being a strong foundation to lean on when shows and rehearsals got stressful and chaotic. Thank you to all my fellow troopers who saw this war through to the end. I’m so privileged to have rehearsed and performed with such an incredible group of people all summer. I’m honored to be apart of the long blue line with all of you. This season has left me with memories I will treasure for a lifetime and I’m beyond thankful for everyone who’s been apart of them.

Some relationships I formed at the troopers go beyond what any words can truly convey. Beyond the friends I found at the troopers I also found my family. Those who I leaned on through all of tour and celebrated every major moment with down to that very last night on the farm. These people have irreparably changed my very being down to my core and impacted my life in a truly one of kind way. You know who you are and you deserve a very special thank you for being my reason to stay and push through till the end and my reason I smiled when I wanted to cry at times. I love each of you and will treasure you and our friendship till the end.

My final message, if you make it this far, is to chase your dreams like crazy. If someone had told me a year or two ago that I’d make it into a top 12 world class corps I would’ve probably called them crazy and dismissed the thought. I spent so long thinking I couldn’t that I never even tried. In the wise words of H. Jackson Brown “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

This season has meant the world to me and taught me so much as both a person and player. I already miss everyone here so much and can’t wait to see you all again. I feel that I grew and changed so much throughout this season, and I’m so happy I got to do it along side my people. This has been the best time of my life, and I can’t believe it’s over now. I’m so thankful to have gotten to do what I love with the corps I have dreamed of for years.

Thank you for all of the amazing people I had this season. Thank you for all of the life lessons. Thank you to the staff that made our days better. Thank you for all of the captured memories. Thank you for every experience that made this Summer all that it was. Thank you Troopers.

Thank you troop for another amazing summer!

My favorite summer by far, thank you to everyone that I had the pleasure to march with and meet throughout the summer. Genuinely the first summer where I haven’t hit my wall and I’m extremely happy to have ended the summer where I did with the people I marched with. Gonna really miss this version of TrooPerc. Love you guys.

Congratulations and good luck to our Horned Frogs as they wrap up the 2026 DCI season! We are incredibly proud of these students for all of their hard work and look forward to continuing the celebration of their personal and musical achievements. Go Frogs!
