When #maggihambling tells you to do a drawing a day, you kind of have to go with it. Here's the evidence: a recently finished sketchbook full of incidental moments in a busy few weeks.

It's a visual diary drawn from life: from welcoming the Asantehene to Warsaw to a drink with my husband down the local; from the number 3 bus to touring the Venice Biennale. Sometimes it's a two-minute sketch, sometimes 20. These moments help me see the world more clearly and connect more deeply.

🙏 @ritobanroyburman for the gift of this beautiful book.

Perhaps the best part of having a May Day birthday is that it’s almost always a holiday somewhere. A long weekend to be joyful with the best people who planned and came for the ‘surprise’ birthday picnic.

Is PR part of the problem?

Our final The Big Question panel tackled the perennial q we often ask ourselves as communicators.

As our host, @msemstreets puts it: “PR’s image is a longstanding issue.

“We’re good at networking and talking but seem less able to translate this into consistent, meaningful change.

“Barriers go back to a lack of diversity and inclusion at the top. Professional standards and qualifications has been another long running debate.”

With discussion spanning power, influence and public interest, and ethics, trust and professional responsibility, it challenged our students to reconsider and reclaim their role in a future-forward industry.

Thanks to our panellists
