20 years of marriage! I remember thinking that was an insane amount of time to be married! But it’s gone by soooo fast! Instead of a beach vacation for our anniversary, I got to move to Los Angeles💃🏻🙌 Hands down the best present I could ask for! How it started? We met at Abercrombie & Fitch in 2003. 😆 I actually really hated working there because they didn’t want me to dye my hair, only wear flip flops, no lipstick EVER, and a whole lot of other reasons👀👀 BUT I did meet my soul mate there! And Yes I do believe in those! They come in all forms but I got a best friend and husband out of this one! Fun fact— Hey Ya was actually our first song🙌🤣💃🏻 We have been together for 23 years, owned 2 businesses, 3 dogs, 2 kids, and a WHOLE lot of memories! Moving to California was the ultimate dream we did together…and I have to say, California has been SO GOOD to us!! Thanks for supporting us and our BIG family business! (The word small just doesn’t hit the same) XOXO

My obsession with graphic tees goes WAY BACK! Back to when I was living in Texas as a hairstylist💃🏻 After years of trying to create one from our limited options, I decided it was time to create my own! Cue a HUGE move from Texas to California, a relentless obsession with finding the best makers in LA and finally launching this women’s graphic tee brand! 19 years ago, we said “I do.” 
We had no idea what was ahead — just a whole lot of love, 2 businesses, 2 kids and big dreams. 💥 Somewhere between meeting at A&F, working long shifts, packing up two minivans and moving from Texas to California…we created our own dreams. 
And somehow, all these years later, we’re still chasing dreams — now building a business we believe in, for women who believe in themselves! Thread Hippie isn’t just tees — it’s everything we’ve learned about working hard, laughing loud, and creating something real that we are excited to share with all of YOU! 🥂 🙌🔥 Cheers to 19 years of marriage, hustle, chaos, and the good kind of crazy!

Happy Father’s Day to my amazing husband, business partner, dad, and the one who keeps this business running behind the scenes!! 30 markets THIS YEAR!!!! 😱😱😱😱 Yes that’s the real number! As our holiday markets come to an end, we can’t help but reflect on all the shows we have attended, places we’ve been and people we have met along the way! Customers AND new maker friends!🙌 Looking forward to 2025, we will be attending way less markets and focusing in on our online business. Hey Hey to all of the beautiful NEW faces on here!! I wanted to RE-introduce myself.... I’m Angela and I am the founder and co-owner (with my husband) of Thread Hippie CA! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Together my husband andI launched Thread Hippie almost a year ago! AND WHAT A YEAR IT’S BEEN! I created Thread Hippie because I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I have been a graphic tee lover for years and it was SO HARD to find good quality, non-band tees with graphics that were fun but still versatile and timeless. We like to say our tees make basics jealous..it’s true! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am a former hairstylist and salon owner who moved to California over two years ago with my kids, dog and BIG DREAMS. That’s what moving to California is all about right!? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I also went to school for fashion merchandising and have worked for some super fun retail companies in the past! My love for clothing, people, and outfitting is the perfect intersection for creating this brand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Outside of work, I spend time with my husband, two amazing kiddos and my border collie mix, Snoopy (he is a living stuffed animal for our family)! I am also a Virgo so I do enjoy my work to the fullest! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So so happy to have you all here!! 💋💋💋💋
