You need to see this before the new week takes off

Giving up may not be as simple as you think at the moment. Sometimes it seems to bring a temporary succour but it takes away from you much more than it gives.

This new week, rethink your plans to quit, but clarify to clinch

Some failures become someone else's roadmap to success.

The wisest people don't just celebrate success; they study the lessons behind failure, too.

My new book, "Mentors Who Failed Forward", is coming to you with a powerful reminder: you can learn from the mistakes of others, grow through experience, and become a better version of yourself.

If you're ready to learn, grow, and move forward?
Comment “MENTOR” if you believe there's a lesson to learn from every experience.

A few years ago, I thought professional growth was mainly about learning from people ahead of me.

Then I began to understand something deeper: sometimes, one of the best ways to grow is to help someone else grow.

Think about a professional who understands a concept but struggles to explain it to a colleague. The moment they begin teaching, they discover gaps in their own understanding and become better at what they know.

Or a leader who mentors a younger colleague through a difficult decision. By asking questions, listening carefully, and sharing experience, the leader also sharpens their judgment, communication, and leadership skills.

That is the quiet power of professional mentorship.

When you help others grow:

Your expertise deepens because teaching forces you to think more clearly.

Your leadership improves because developing people requires patience, empathy, and sound judgment.

Your credibility grows because people learn to trust those who consistently add value.

Your perspective expands because other people's challenges can reveal what you have overlooked.

Your impact multiplies because the knowledge and confidence you share can influence people and organisations beyond your immediate reach.

The lesson is simple: growth isn't only about climbing higher. It's also about helping others rise.

You need not have all the answers before you can help someone. Share a lesson you've learned, guide a colleague, or mentor someone navigating a challenge you've already faced.

Don't just seek mentors. Become a multiplier.

Who is one person you can help grow this week?

Before you plan for 2027, learn how to intervene in 2026.

In today’s Professional Mentorship article on LinkedIn, I explored a powerful truth: the more you help others grow, the more you grow.

The same principle applies to your goals. Sometimes, moving forward requires more than personal effort.

It takes honest reflection, the right questions, fresh perspectives, and guidance that helps you see what you may be missing.

Review your 2026. Identify what needs to change. Seek the right support. Then build a stronger foundation for 2027.

💬 What's one lesson you've learned this year that could help someone else finish 2026 stronger? Share it in the comments.

The more you help others grow, the more you grow.

One of the greatest misconceptions about professional growth is that you must keep acquiring knowledge to get ahead.

But real growth happens when you apply what you know, teach what you've learned, and help others avoid the mistakes you've overcome.

Teaching deepens your expertise. Mentoring strengthens your leadership. Helping others multiplies your impact.

As a professional mentor and leadership development strategist, I believe our greatest success isn't measured only by what we achieve, but also by the people we empower to achieve more.

That's the spirit behind The Courageon Hub, coming soon, a community of leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs committed to meaningful growth and industry impact.

I'm also working on my upcoming book, Mentors Who Failed Forward, to help us learn from the mistakes and experiences that shape our journeys.

💬 What's one lesson from your journey that could help someone else grow? Share it in the comments. Your experience may be someone else's breakthrough.

What did you hate most about your mentor(s) that made you want to go back to building alone?

Was it the lack of practical guidance? The constant criticism without direction? Broken promises? Or a mentor who wanted obedience instead of helping you think independently?

Let's talk about it.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

A good mentor challenges your assumptions, shares lessons from experience, respects your values, holds you accountable, and helps you make better decisions, not just follow theirs.

The right mentor cannot guarantee your success, but the right mentorship can help you avoid costly mistakes, see blind spots, and improve your odds of achieving your goals.

This is one reason I'm currently working on my new book, 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙: 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚'𝙨 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙎𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚, 𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮.

I'm excited to launch it alongside 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙪𝙗, a growing vision to help people and organisations learn, lead, and grow with greater clarity and courage.

💬 Let's hear your story: What is the one thing you wish your former mentor had done differently? Your experience could help someone choose a better mentor.

Your next breakthrough may not require more effort. It may simply require the right mentor.

Many founders, CEOs, and ambitious professionals spend years learning everything the hard way, not because they lack ability, but because they lack the right guidance.

Professional mentorship can help you uncover blind spots, make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and turn your ambitions into purposeful action.

As we reflect on 2026 and prepare for 2027, ask yourself: Are you navigating your next level alone when you could benefit from experienced guidance?

🚀 There's more coming with The Courageon Hub. Stay connected as we prepare to bring this broader ecosystem for leadership, business growth, and transformation to life.

And if you're ready to turn your lessons into a clear 90-day action plan? Comment “BLUEPRINT” or send me a DM.

You can audit your 2026 alone. But will you interpret the lessons correctly?

Imagine a founder who has worked all year tirelessly but has little to show for it.

Looking at the numbers, they conclude they need more customers.

A mentor asks a different question: “What happens to the customers you already have?”

They discover that poor follow-up, inconsistent processes, and weak retention - not a lack of leads- are the real problems.

One conversation changes the intervention they need to make.

That's the power of professional mentorship.

Sometimes, you don't need more effort. You need a better perspective.

As you review your 2026 and prepare for 2027, the right mentor can help you:

Interpret your results beyond the obvious.

Identify blind spots you may struggle to see on your own.

Prioritise the right interventions instead of trying to fix everything.

Turn insights into action with structure and accountability.

Your experience is valuable. But experience combined with the right guidance can help you make wiser decisions and avoid expensive mistakes.

This week, let's explore how to leverage mentorship to understand what 2026 has taught you and build a more intentional path forward.

You don't have to figure out your next chapter alone.

💬 What's one area of your life, career, or business where an experienced mentor's perspective could make a difference before 2026 ends?

If you're ready to turn reflection into a clear, actionable 90-day plan, comment “BLUEPRINT” or send me a DM.

13 years ago, I resumed work at the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund in Benin City as a Compliance Officer II.

It was the early stage of my career.

I had big ambitions, but I had to start somewhere.

Fast forward 13 years.

I've founded and run The Courageon Int'l Ltd, serving hundreds of organisations, and supporting thousands of leaders, professionals, and personal brands.

Did everything happen at once?

Absolutely not.

It happened one decision, one lesson, one opportunity, one risk, and one intervention at a time.

So, if your 2026 audit doesn't look the way you hoped, don't make another mistake:

Stop trying to fix everything at once.

You have limited time left this year.

Don't scatter your energy across 20 problems.

Identify the one intervention that can create the greatest positive movement, and start there.

Fix the bottleneck.

Build the system.

Measure the progress.

Then move to the next.

Your current position is not the final picture of your life, career, or business.

But what you do next matters.

One focused intervention can change the trajectory of the next 13 years.

👉 What is the ONE thing you need to intervene in before 2026 ends?

If you need help identifying it and turning it into a structured execution plan, comment “BLUEPRINT” or send me a DM.
